Where do you think next year will take place, will be in Morrowind, Pyandonea or Hammerfell?

Three choices plus an other option.
There is only so many areas they can go and do, now if they are unable to do Hammerfell because of TES 6 at this point I think we all know is going to be in Hammerfell. As its kind of obvious, then there is two places they can do. The most likely is Eastern Morrowind, which has a massive area that they can do, which includes the City of Necrom. Its very likely to be next years location, because of the Hammerfell factor and there only being so much they can do.
The other option which I do consider a bit more likely then Hammerfell , is Pyandonea the homeland of the Maormer and something Zenimax seems to be interested in, also Maormer as a playable race. There have been hints towards Maormer and stuff. Which could imply we could see that location next year.
Third area if it does turn out they are allowed to do more of Hammerfell then, next year could take us there, but its unlikely. So those are the three likely locations for next year. Which one of the three do you see it being?

No clue, but with a little bit of coordination they should at least not do the same zone as TES-6 whenever it releases. Eastern Morrowind would be cool though.

I couldn't even guess. Hammerfell is overdue, but personally I'd love to see Pyandonea even more, and would LOVE to have Maormer as a playable race.

I am disappointed that Q4 wont take us to other Black Marsh Zone... I mean After Elsweyr, that was a "dream come true" for Khajiits, I was hoping for similar "Dream come true" set of zones & lore, but for Argonians... It did not happened... Instead we got teased with an Argonian assassin with tail armour that was only in cinematic, and not even in a game.

Imagine if in Elsweyr chapter Khamira was only in Cutscenes and later on she was not in a game and Elsweyr was like Reaper's March zone - splitted thematically between 2 races.

So, yes, I am waiting for a Proper Argonian Chapter.

Given Chapters have succeded the most based on nostalgia, ZOS may well have learned this.

Lessons learned from the comparative poor reception of Blackwood as opposed to Morrowind, GreyMoor etc is likely to push them in that direction.

Morrowind and Pyandonea have had coverage, albeit limited in other expansions.

They have also used all of the 5 companions in previous releases.

Suspect Hapmmerfell based on teases. Ie there is a big statue of Sai in Leyawiin. But more likely to be driven by any new 'system' they introduce.

It needs to be a solid hit with players the way companions wasn't.

DLC story zone is not a Chapter.

Elsweyr is Chapter-size zone, a story DLC zone and 2 DLC dungeon zones. And it is all story & lore connected. That is a substantial difference.

I’m torn between Hammerfell and Eastern Morrowind. They haven’t touched Morrowind since 2017, and Hammerfell still has a lot of room left to cover. Central/Skyrim are possibilities, however we touched Skyrim last year. I don’t think they’re going to visit lands of non-playable races before most of Tamriel and most realms of Oblivion are touched. I could be wrong tho.

My guess is Hammerfel area as in the unused area south of Craglorn and the DC areas and west of Cyrodil.
It includes Skingrad from Obvion.

Now south of Alki'r as is more the real Hammerfel is probably still on the table except one issue.
ZoS can do the zone some year after TES 6 to bring people to ESO to re-visit the zone 1000 year before.
Yes this works both ways but pretty sure sale effect is larger this way.

But if will make Hammerfel the only white sport on the map as TES 6 is years ahead.

They can use Hammerfell, remember ESO would only be using a region of the Zone where as TES VI would use the whole Province and perhaps even High Rock so don't pretend that the place is off limits, it is not like we don't already have a large section of Hammerfell in ESO already, Alikr Desert, Southern Bangkorai, Hew's Bane and Craglorn are all in Hammerfell.

If they made another Skyrim Zone it would have to be vastly different to Greymoor but could include Whiterun Hold which would consist of Whiterun and Riverhold or it could consist of Winterhold and the Pale, they could also expand on Blackreach and add the location we visit in TES V, one thing Greymoor lacked was a strong emphasis on the Falmer or the Draugr and I could somehow see an expansion centered around that.

Another option would be the Telvanni Isles but ultimately much like the above idea that may be too similar to an already existing expansion unless the area is very different to Vvardenfell.

They can add that zone but scale-wise that zone is quite small unless of course ZOS wants to suggest Blackreach stretches into Eastern High Rock as well or they can have an Oblivion realm also featured to expand upon it, maybe such a Zone could be Gothic by design, they claimed Greymoor was Gothic but it's really not, what I mean is it could somewhat resemble a place you would see in Dark Souls.

The expansion would feature 2 zones much like Greymoor, these zones would be Solstheim and The Hunting Grounds and if you could not already of guessed the expansion would be centered on Hircine's Wild Hunt as a callback to the DLC from Morrowind of the same name, this would also be a good time to introduce Werebears into the game, whether they are playable or not would be up to ZOS but I could imagine a 3rd transformation could be the expansions BIG feature.

We know that ZOS likes to add variety to avoid content fatigue. After Morrowind came Summerset, then Elsweyr, then Skyrim and then Blackwood. Climate-wise these zones are all very different, which tells us that the next chapter probably won't be swampy like Blackwood (meaning no Blackmarsh chapter) and probably not snowy either because Greymoor is so recent (so no northern Skyrim).

That leaves southern Skyrim, Eastern Morrowind and Hammerfell. I would guess ZOS will not give special treatment to any of the provinces, so I doubt we will get a second Nord or Dunmer chapter before Redguards even had one.

So that really only leaves Hammerfell. There are even some clues about a possible story there.

Azra Nightwielder seems to have been around already, which we know from the Nightwielder tome existing in Blackwood. We also got some Shadow magic in Summerset and Clockwork City and that's what Azra Nightwielder is known for (that and enchanting staves). So it's possible Azra Nightwielder could be the big bad of a Hammerfell chapter and the events of ESO lead to the creation of Azra's crater, where Azra's Crossing will be built later. Sadly I fear that ZOS will pass up that opportunity to have some big explosion in the finale leave an actual mark on the world, so my guess is Azra's crater already exists by the time of ESO and all of the known lore is already in the past, which means Azra probably couldn't be the big bad anymore either. He could still make an appearance though.

I doubt it will be things like Pyandonea because ZOS said they want to fill the known map first before they go "beyond Tamriel". Now Pyandonea can still be considered part of Tamriel, so it's definitely worth considering over something like Akavir. But to me it is also an option that probably won't be explored until every other race got their first chapter (if still possible).

My view ignored "other" for some reason but I'll elaborate. My choices would be either back to Whiterun or back to Skingrad, as after this year they would need a recovery and it's as always could be a nostalgia trip.

But as it was planned ahead I'd be not surprised by Bravil or Solstheim that were somewhat teased for years now with crown store items and still had nostalgia value, especially after we'll get to Deadlands we probably not be in some crazy place right after.

Not sure what's of interest in eastern Morrowind.

This is why I didn't want this year's chapter to include parts of Black Marsh. For ''cultural chapters'' I prefer them focused on just one race/culture. I wanted Q2 to be either all imperial or all argonian.
Imperials and argonians are my two favorite races and because of that I would've loved them to each get their own undevided attention.


Anyway I want to see more Hammerfell. Imagine a Hew's Bane with even more beautiful updated textures. Everyone loves to talk about how TES6 is at least five years away so I don't see why TES6 should matter, especially when the location isn't confirmed yet.

I know next year probably won't be a green chapter after Black Marsh is swampy/green, but Valenwood has the same problem as High Rock and Hammerfell. I'm hoping we see all three of those before more Skyrim, Colovia, or Eastern Morrowind. And by "hoping" I mean "more willing to spend money on".

And I voted Other even though I think Hammerfell is most likely of those three because I really don't know where we'll be, which is a nice change of pace compared to the last couple years when people could predict fairly accurately by the anniversaries of TES games. Now we're past that let's go somewhere new, I for one am tired of nostalgia trips.

Cheydinhal, Skingrad or more places in the Black Marsh. If you look at a TES map and compare it to the ESO map currently you'll see there's a lot of areas in / surrounding cyrodiil that have left to be completed.
