Inventory Insight addon preventing companion equipment drag & drop, unequip

I was wondering why I couldn't unequip items from my companions, or drag & drop items into equipment slots. The only way I could equip items was to double-click from my inventory - which means I had to first double-click equip a two-handed item in order to equip a new off-hand item.

I only disabled one addon as a test (the last one I installed), and it worked: Inventory Insight. Which is unfortunate since that is a really helpful addon :'(

I'm using IIfA and drag&drop works fine? I do not think it is related to Inventory Insight or it was a bux that Zos fixed in their vanilla UI meanwhile.

I can confirm that this is still an issue with that particular addon as I've experienced the very same problem. I disabled Inventory Insight, hit /reloadui and I was then able to swap the off-hand weapon.

Hm I got an idea: What if you move the IIfA UI control to the far right (above normal inventory's position) and then close it there.
Talk to the companion and try to equip items again, does it work then?

It could be that the TLC (toplevelcontrol) of IIfA frame is overlaying (invisible) at the usual "center" screen position (left of normal inventory) and that's why it somehow intercepts your mouse there and you cannot release the drag&drop properly.

I maybe not noticing this as I automatically close the IIfA frames if my inventory etc. closes too, but maybe you got that still opened then before talking to the companion?

@Kusandru I can't reproduce this problem.

Do you have Bug Catcher or some other sort of bug suppression addon? My best guess is that you're hitting a Lua error of some sort and that you don't realize it because the error is being hidden. So if you do have such an addon, disable it, then try the drag and drop again, and if you then get a visible error message, post that message here.
