Sweetwater Cascades (review with lots of pics!)

I wondered through the Psijic Villa and it has the most beautiful windows. OMG if it came up after the first of the year I might get that one as well.

It's by far my favorite house in the game :O I meant to get it the last time it was available but missed it bc of IRL stuff

Sweetwater is my new favorite house! And I just got the Chapel too....This is going to take forever to furnish both but I'm pretty psyched for these two.

I wish I could refund my older homes I no longer use - this gets pricey.

@AScarlato I just finished decorating Pantherfang... well you never really finished. I'm happy with the results but I'm burnt out. If I were to do 2 homes at once I'd be going Koo-Koo for Coco Puffs.

OP, ty for posting this! I loved this house. Before purchasing I always look on the forums to see if anyone has found any "gotchas" and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who found this one to be particularly awesome. I appreciate the pics very much. :)
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

Sorry but the level of detail that I am comfortable with is utterly impossible with the item count as it stands.

The property is lovely, and the pics posted are nice. Yes you can decorate up to the count. Have done it in too many houses now.

It all still pales in comparison to what could be done if one wasn't constantly having to compromise vision for count.

So not sure I am buying this one. Or any other house for that matter.

After years of buying houses on both NA and EU pc servers, am really fed up that they just categorically refuse to even try to address this yet continue to churn out massive sized properties.

Wholeheartedly agree. I'm glad OP enjoys his house but to me that level of decoration wouldn't nearly cut it, some screenshots look cozy enough, mostly the living/dining areas, but others feel awfully barren and empty to me. Worse yet, there's no room for rationale in a house like that. The "wine cellar" is the worst offender in this example... three vampiric furnishings in an empty room. I might be a tad OCD, but things must have a rationale in my homes - for instance, my "wine cellar" uses some of the same furnishings, but they follow a precise rationale - bodies are grown inside the organic tower itself, tubes connect to growth tanks, tanks connect to what came out of them and to an alchemy lab, and it's not completed yet (and the blood knight is floating, I noticed :* ). And that's just one small room in a relatively small Notable house (the back will still most likely have to be closed off). Sorry if I derailed the thread with the screenshots, but I felt it was important to explain what I meant by "rationale" - many more experienced decorators who followed a certain rationale invariably had to close off sections of their homes.

The OP does indeed enjoy her house... or will when I get it at any rate! LOL I did have slots left over after my PTS run through and do bear in mind that this was a relatively "quick" deco just to get a feel for what could be done within the limits. I'll obviously be making changes on the real deal. And the vamp furnishings for the "wine cellar" work much better in my Pantherfang. So the cellar in Sweetwater will likely become an actual wine cellar/alchemy workshop. I'm glad you have such a worked out rationale for your own furnishings though it might occur to you to wonder if other people do as well. I assure you that I do and in Pantherfang they are very much part of a story that has been ongoing since the game went live. Just bear in mind that not everyone thinks just like you do nor should they. But thanks for sharing anyway. I look forward to your fully detailed "rationale" along with all of your perfect pics.

I'm sorry you took it personally, but please do not put words in my mouth. Never have I claimed that my example was perfect, nor that anyone should think like me - in fact I made the subjectivity of my comment unequivocally clear (I bolded it in the quote). And I stand by what I said: in my opinion, a house that big cannot accomodate a level of detail that's found in my favourite houses. I merely pointed out why through an example (and already briefly explained what I meant by rationale) which you took as a personal attack. It was not. I made the mistake of using my own "wine cellar" as an example for the simple reason that I also had one, that was a mistake as it lead you to take it personally. So to better understand what I meant by "rationale", and as to the reasons it's not something you can implement in every single place in large houses, I'll instead use another example (and that one's really perfect): Lovathy's Gardner house on PC/EU. Everything in it "makes sense"(=has a rationale), nothing is placed "as a filler" or "just because", and it was possible because the house is smaller and closed-off.
I'm also sorry for the pronoun mistake - that too wasn't personal as I was more focused on the topic than on the person, so I didn't notice your nickname.
