Don't even need to do top tier writs for these either. Run all your alts through each day, and shop the guild stores in the latter half of these events and you will have the complete motifs. You can also offer to trade motifs in zone chat. The known motifs I find I sell. It is how I keep up with my motif collections.

Ancestral motifs didn’t drop in any event and price of ancestral reach motif still very high.

I assure you it won't.

Killing a dragon has a chance of dropping a pouch which in turn has a chance of containing treasure maps which in turn have a chance of being Blackwood maps which in turn have a chance to produce a viable lead which potentially could be for a page one has not read yet.

Even if you multiply that x2 is still pretty poor odds.

If this level of nested RNG is you jam fine by me but is never going to be my jam.

Old thread but I wanted to add that as a motif hunter it is not us who are artificially increasing the prices of lead based motifs rather, like most things, the resellers who tirelessly go from trader to trader buying those maps to resell are directly responsible. The pricing on maps make it very hard to impossible for even the richest of us to consider the newest lead based motifs as a reliable source of gold. On average, 1 out of 6 maps will drop a lead and the new maps as of this date cost 100-200k each. Most of the motif pages are less valuable than 3 maps. If you are lucky you can recoup lost gold by finding a chest piece. I have data from 1000's of lead based motif that I have personally found. Motif hunting is not a way to get rich fast (or slow).
