Endeavor daily already lowered...

Well as long as it doesn't go the route of daily rewards.. ie when their algorithm decides we've had enough or they've found some legal loophole with microsoft, it goes to flatline 5 seals forever. Just like how good the daily rewards are when they realised they don't care about that player benefit anymore.

    - Complete a trial
    - Complete a hard mode trial
    - Complete 5 veterans hard mode
    - Complete 30 different world boss on DLC area

..... but i guess that even there they will complain that suddenly its way too hard, or they dont have time for that, or the intensive loot is not good enough .... etc etc etc

I already have a job and I'm sick of ZOS making me feel like I have another. The game is buy2play... So let me buy this crap outright because I'm not grinding for a year to get the radiants and I'm certainly not buying their loot boxes. I'll pay $40 for a mount. Whatever. Just let me buy it.

    2. People are really mad that they were given a free way to get things you could only previously pay for because heaven forbid it actually takes time to get things that would normally take several hundred dollars to get.

You realize the only reason they're doing this is to sidestep legal mandates banning loot boxes. Now they have a defense along the lines of "well technically players can earn these items in game". You know why I'm mad? Because back when I started this game, everything was free as long as I paid the monthly fee. Still paying a monthly fee AND have this intrusive MTX garbage in my game.

I pay more for this game than I ever have before and we still have these gambling boxes despite yearly expansion packs, quarterly DLCs, ESO+ benefits like the craft bag and a Microsoft acquisition. It sucks.

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 7 paid expansions. 22 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the vast majority of this game.

Well there pretty much no chance they will make the Radiants available to buy outright with the Endeavors system now in place but I would expect them to be selling for ~$200 minimum not $40 considering things like a simple elk or other animal mount sells for $20-$30.

But really its nothing like a 2nd job. This is optional content for optional cosmetics that your previously only had the option of spending money on. If you dont want to do the endeavors dont do them and just continue playing the same way you already were. They didn't take anything from you they just added an additional thing you can do if you want, its not hard to just not do the optional thing you don't want to do.

Unfortunately most of the items in this lot of Crown store items DO require crown crates purchase. I am not playing that game anymore. The RNG is beyond horrible. Its a total waste of money. I'd totally buy crowns to outright purchase some of those items. I am not going to gamble with crown crates to get them.

Like someone else said, I'd do the things that give endeavor currency anyway. However, I am in no way impressed. I am disappointed that 15kG took the place of 15 endeavor coins (based on yesterdays endeavors) .. 15kG+ can be made in minutes by gathering and selling what was gathered.

To sum it up... UGH :s

Halo 5 (which is not by any means a great example for the gaming industry as a whole for a multitude of reasons) at least did a fair job on their lootbox system. There were 3 "packs" a Bronze, Silver, and Gold pack, along with bundles of gold packs that ranged from 3 to 149, I think. A Gold pack had guaranteed 3 permanent unlocks, be it armor, visor colors, emblems, weapon skins, etc. and a ton of consumable items such as ordinance weapons (rocket launcher and the like), XP gambits, Req Point gambits, vehicles, etc. A gold pack cost $4.99 if I recall correctly. They could also be purchased for 10,000 Requisition points (Req points for short), which were the in-game currency. Each completed matchmade game would get you about 2,000 to 4,000 Req points depending on if you won or lost, and your performance on your team. So basically, complete 4 or 5 8-15 minute games and you got a gold pack with 3 guaranteed unlocks and a bunch of consumables.

This wasn't great, but it's certainly better than "play the game for 6 months and you can get one of our flashy new mounts. and oh, by the way, you will never be able to get the ones currently available because the mathematics determine that once you have enough seals, they will have already been gone from the store for 3 months. Guess you have to wait 2 years for them to go back on the store lol"

A pretty lame system. It's more time efficient to just farm gold and buy crates from people and keep your fingers crossed. I really hope Microsoft does an audit of this system and makes ZOS change it. Either lower the prices for the items or raise the amount of seals you can get per day. Otherwise, it's very obvious this system is just an excuse to not have daddy Microsoft get mad at you.

I would honestly just prefer if the seals were used to buy the individual crates themselves because you could gem extract like normal and still get what you want and still have that chance to get the apex rewards. Have each crate priced at 500 seals, and increase the seal earnings per day to 100 instead of 60, so complete 5 days worth of endeavors and get one crate. So that the math works on that, increase the amount of seals earned to 25 per endeavor and set the max to 4 instead of 3 and change the available endeavors to 6 instead of 5. And since 1 crate every 5 days is still a bit generous, increase the difficulty of the endeavors so that you actually have to, y'know, endeavor to do them.

    Grinding?
First 2 day I've done the seals just by doing things I would have done regardless.

People really like to whine about just anything in this forum

The simplicity of the task has nothing to do with it. Normally when someone refers to grinding, they are talking about the repetition, chore-like tasks on the daily, as if it's labor or a job. That's how you would describe grinding in the context you distorted :p

It's simple, STOP BUYING the SCAM CRATES and they will go away if it's no longer profitable for them! I have never purchased a single one and refuse too yet I'd buy some of those items (likely a lot tbh) if I could buy for a reasonable price with crowns but hey, saves my wallet this way but it is disgusting day 2 and the amount went down for the endeavors and likely to continue going down. ZOS did it again in making me reconsider if I really want to continue paying monthly plus some additional crowns here and there and leaning back to quitting this game.

I miss ESO back when it had no EFFING MTX garbage! Heck I miss the gaming industry of old period, I hate MTX everywhere on full priced games especially.

I play as I have always played. Sometimes I get a notice I have achieved something in Endeavors. I don't understand it and it seems to change daily.
Best thing is to ignore them and maybe some day in a dystopian future the seals will be worth something.

Nothing has changed about the way you used to get crown stuff. Now you get a mechanism that gets you stuff just for showing up and doing what you do in the game anyway.

So, why is anyone complaining? Is it the lack of the Silver Platter laden with Shiney's?
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Aw you have to play more to get something for FREE ? Jesus.. I'm probably a minority in this but like can we stop rushing *** and wanting to get things easier. An item feels much better to show off if you worked hard for it. Not everyone having everything making the item saturated. There's a reason why progression and rewards feel shite.

Seals were never meant to be an efficient way to obtain crown crate items however they are still a nice addition. Takes all of 20 - 30 minutes to finish dailies and over time you can get essentially free items. I am not expecting to use seals as the main source of buying these items but getting a free apex or radiant apex mount from time to time will be nice. The rewards also change each day so some days may reward a lot and others not so much and we still don't know what the weekly rewards will look like so there is still hope. I would expect someone who plays daily to be able to probably afford one apex mount per crown crate cycle if they save them up or maybe even a radiant apex but that's just a guess.

Day 1 you got 20 Seals
    Day 2 you get 15 Seals + 5k Gold.

I guess the gold is the "trade-off". This is probably done to incentivize new players to particpiate in the dailies, 5k Gold can be a lot of money for new players whereas Seals of Endeavors are still "useless" for them.

We are also working on a page to list up Endeavors similar to how we have the undaunted pledges page. Endeavors News article & Tips & tricks about Endeavors.

I think that is 5k experience. That is what is says when hovering over the icon that looks like a gold coin.

Have each crate priced at 500 seals, and increase the seal earnings per day to 100 instead of 60, so complete 5 days worth of endeavors and get one crate.

Honestly I would've even been fine with just getting regular gems through dailies. 5-10 gems total per day or some such, the same approximate amount we'd get from free Twitch drops, except ACTUALLY getting the gems guaranteed if we put in the work instead of this "watch this Twitch stream you don't give a flip about all day long for a minuscule CHANCE to get a drop" that somehow manages to not give drops 50% of the time even if there's only 2 people watching.

Even if you got 10 gems every day through grinding dailies, you'd never be able to accumulate enough for a single Radiant Apex in a single crate season. It'd take 4 months to get the lowest tier Radiant (1,200 gems) if you bought NOTHING else with them. And the highest tier Radiant Apex would take a little over 8 months, again if you didn't buy anything else with your gems at all.

Point being it would've been just as easy and a lot more straightforward to just give us a way to earn gems which we already have as a currency. But I'm guessing then they couldn't just upmark all the cheap stuff stupidly high separate from the people buying crates with cash and wittle down peoples' Seals savings from ever getting those shiny Radiants because they settled for "smaller ticket" items that were within reach but are actually more expensive.

I don't care about endeavors, its a pity system to make you feel like you're able to get a reward in a reasonable amount of time. Which is fine...

More surprised that crown crates are still available in its current format in the Netherlands and Belgium. Seeing at what Valve already is doing and EA is not going to do with its system.
