I don’t care whether they change it or not. As a whole it’s probably better this way so that players without much gold don’t have yet another payed obstacle to raiding.

But the “Fixed an issue” part? just lol

I don't see a problem with the price. If you want the very best then you got to pay for it, no? I actually think it should be BUFFED so the price difference is justified.
The difference between purple and gold gear is tiny (dis-including weapons), I certainly would be against them touching the difference in power between upgrades as well.

A food changing just doesnt seem important to me, especially with Health being so high now anyway. Might help make the choice of Mag Rec+Max Mag vs Max Health+Max Mag more of a consideration too.

We’ll see lol, it won’t make much of a difference in anything. But I do agree if gear upgrades were made less important from purple to gold I would not like that.

Lol. People complaining about a nerf begin to mention other foods to be nerfed. The irony. The old “if I be damned, I’m taking everyone with me.”

I am showing inconsistencies in their thinking.

This nerf won't change max health for everyone because barely anyone even uses this food (for pvp).
Yes the difference is small... so how about to touch it? No one asked for it and I believe its healthy to speak loudly about how these little changes aren't preferable.

It feels like instead of making a few big changes to what people actually want changed they make 10 small changes no one asks for so they can go "Look at all these changes we've done you can't say we don't balance our game."

This won't change anything other than the food people click E on before combat. Builds will be the same, combat will be the same, Godslayer will still be as achieveable.

It was always weird to me that Pickled Fish Bowl was slightly better than other food for no reason, and it's been too expensive for a long time. The rage about this change seems pretty overblown to me.

It's not the magnitude of the change it's the fact that this, of all things, was what they chose to 'fix' in this patch.

Like, if you're fixing random bugs, why not fix the bug with Ravager where it takes 2 seconds to go from Stack 2 -> Stack 3 rather than 1 second. Or why Oblivion' Foe doesn't provide both Spell and Weapon Critical Chance on Live when it is intended to do so from its most recent patch notes?

Those are actual bugs with actual sets that remain unfixed. Why spend time fixing a 'problem' like this?

    This, x1000.
It's not that it's a game-breaking change, it's that it is so STUPID.

Maybe fix that hoarfrost bug in vCR where you can't synergize and drop hoarfrost? You know, fix a bug that is ACTUALLY important.

There's literally a bug where sometimes if you eat food, the values show up as "0" on the character stat tooltip. They still haven't seemed to fix that problem. I would have preferred they'd fix the tooltip than nerf a random expensive food by like 100 magicka. One would think an expensive food would give fabulous stats.

And it's not working really well for fishing any more. I never heard anything official about that nerf.

    Maybe I missed it
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Another change that helps nobody and just annoys players who were using this buff food.

If it aint broke, dont try to fix it.

Plenty of broken stuff to fix before 'fixing' stuff that is working perfectly fine.
    PC - EU (AD)
    Septimus Mezar - Altmer Sorcerer
    Septimus Rulanir - Orsimer Templar
    Septimus Desmoru - Khajiit Necromancer
Septimus Iroh - Dunmer Dragon Knight
    Septimus Thragar - Dunmer Nightblade
    Septimus Jah'zar - Khajiit Nightblade
    Septimus Nerox - Redguard Warden
    Septimus Ozurk - Orsimer Sorcerer

Gotta pad out the patch notes. Perhaps they have a minimum word count on their assignments?

Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl: Fixed an issue where this food buff was stronger than it’s blue food counterpart. The main focus of this food was meant to be its bonuses for Fishing, rather than combat effectiveness. The new values are max level are now 5414 Max Health and 4938 Max Magicka.

    ******
Yet another completely unnecessary change that no one ever asked for on a food that isn't even remotely considered 'Overpowered'. The reason why this food is great is because you can pay extra gold to get a few hundred more magicka and HP.
If they want to do a miniscule tweak how about they look at sugar skulls?!?!

This change is silly and should be reverted.
It doesn't change any dynamic, just acts as a nuisance to potential max stats.

Do that and it's another big F-U to PVE Tanks.
