I don’t care whether they change it or not. As a whole it’s probably better this way so that players without much gold don’t have yet another payed obstacle to raiding.
But the “Fixed an issue” part? just lol
I don't see a problem with the price. If you want the very best then you got to pay for it, no? I actually think it should be BUFFED so the price difference is justified.
The difference between purple and gold gear is tiny (dis-including weapons), I certainly would be against them touching the difference in power between upgrades as well.

A food changing just doesnt seem important to me, especially with Health being so high now anyway. Might help make the choice of Mag Rec+Max Mag vs Max Health+Max Mag more of a consideration too.
We’ll see lol, it won’t make much of a difference in anything. But I do agree if gear upgrades were made less important from purple to gold I would not like that.

It was always weird to me that Pickled Fish Bowl was slightly better than other food for no reason, and it's been too expensive for a long time. The rage about this change seems pretty overblown to me.
It's not the magnitude of the change it's the fact that this, of all things, was what they chose to 'fix' in this patch.
Like, if you're fixing random bugs, why not fix the bug with Ravager where it takes 2 seconds to go from Stack 2 -> Stack 3 rather than 1 second. Or why Oblivion' Foe doesn't provide both Spell and Weapon Critical Chance on Live when it is intended to do so from its most recent patch notes?
Those are actual bugs with actual sets that remain unfixed. Why spend time fixing a 'problem' like this?

Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl: Fixed an issue where this food buff was stronger than it’s blue food counterpart. The main focus of this food was meant to be its bonuses for Fishing, rather than combat effectiveness. The new values are max level are now 5414 Max Health and 4938 Max Magicka.
******
Yet another completely unnecessary change that no one ever asked for on a food that isn't even remotely considered 'Overpowered'. The reason why this food is great is because you can pay extra gold to get a few hundred more magicka and HP.
If they want to do a miniscule tweak how about they look at sugar skulls?!?!
This change is silly and should be reverted.
It doesn't change any dynamic, just acts as a nuisance to potential max stats.
