This set isn't op at all!
You definitely want this bonus on both bars
and so you sacrifice either a monster set or a mytic item.
Running this set with dual wield on you back bar is a good option but miles away from being op!

One of the best set ideas in forever. I love me some pure stat sets and this one is really versatile. Amazing. Awesome. I love it.

Actually, versatile is exactly what the set is not. ;)

I have been testing the new Heartland Conqueror set pairing it with various other sets, and I am borderline on the power boost the set gives with the 100% weapon trait improvement. If I am borderline, I suspect there are many of my fellow players that will say "Yes. this set is OP."

I have not tested all nine traits, but I did test infused with a poison glyph and decisive with a dawnbreaker ulti. The ultimate generation is, as far as I could tell, a guaranteed 4 ult per tick -so long as you are light attacking. Dawn Breaker was popping up pretty quickly.

For the infused weapon (a bow),The poison glyph tooltip read over 6k in poison damage with the 4 sec global cooldown. So I think this fits in with some of the 5 pc poison set procs I have seen, oh wait....the bow only takes two slots. Not 5!!! Hmmmm...Just wondering if anyone else thinks this set will be getting the good ole chop chop chopperoonie soon.

Edit to clarify "infused" trait and add punctuation to title.

Keep in mind that the numbers you see as "op" also include the base tooltip of those things.

So, for example, with heartland sharpened you see 6.5k pen and consider it op. However, it is easy to forget that your sharpened already initially gave 3.25k pen. This means that heartland 5 piece only actually added 3.25k pen, which is less than other options (spinner, spriggan, night mother).

As many above say, heartland isn't op but is a very cleverly made gap-filler set that can fill what a build needs (often at the expense of not being strongest option).

Really, the only strong uses I see for it are use with niche traits such as Powered (rarely), decisive and charged, as other sets can otherwise prove stronger.

BiS for Training when leveling or exp grinding, don't forget.

I tend not to use Training on my weapons anyway. Kill stuff a little faster rather than get a little more XP per kill.

Of course, that arithmetic is irrelevant if the limiting factor on speed is respawn rate.

Good points. I made sets for my low level toons because it's safe leveling gear that *should* last for as many new characters as I ever wish to make, but I admit I haven't actually tested with vs without Heartland Training to see whether the boost is worthwhile over the old training gear sets like Julianos or Hundings.

Its a great set, strong even but not op. No where near as strong as prime eternal vigor was.
