Deep breath: Remove/nerf the heal and double the burst damage to compete with shalk.

No. We do not want literally every ability we use to heal us. We actually want to do damage. Adjust the timer delay so that it has 0 effect on pve. But for the love for god just give us this one skill.

    Make deep breath like prox det and have no heal, max damage

    Make empowering chains an execute or combo for whip and get rid of the pull to mechanic, it's annoying and only helpful in super niche situations which is basically.. never worth it over something else

    Make one of our passives, any of them give me something damage for SLOTTING an ardent flame ability, like every other class instead of solely relying on whip

    Making burning do something other than just give burning damage so speccing into it feels more worth it rather than cornering for the sustain

    So many people scream Zen's DK give the wearer a solo buff and *** the mag recovery off because 129 mag recovery compared to max mag, spell crit, spell damage is TRASH so I can feel like a real boy instead of a buff ***.

    How about barbed trap scale off highest resource or scalding rune give minor force?

    I'm down for all the changes currently in the PTS, I think a lot of great is there, LOVING a lot of it.

    I know, ZOS, you said you don't plan on changing class skills mostly right now, but I see some modifications here and there, not saying OVERHAUL, just a rework or slight modification or two, and it'd be great.

    ...Can we please just have a singular decent skill? One that compares to that of any other class? I look at all these overloaded abilities that do like 4 things, and then look at DK with DOTs that take 14s (and a passive to make it take that long in the first place) just to equal the damage on a regular class skill like Shalks. Where's our version of Betty for completely free purges, sustain, and Major Sorcery/Brutality? Where's our Arctic Blast for a massive burst heal, %HP HOT, AOE DOT, and AOE unblockable stun that also happens to be cheaper than our burst heal which does none of those other things? No delayed damage, no burst, no purges, no executes. Where's the sustain? Where's the damage? Where's the healing? Stam DK is dead last as DPS in every trial, DK is never taken as healer, the only reason it's on tank is because it sucks at every other role but groups need the buffs it provides. Tired of commenting the obvious on every post just for ZOS to reduce the cost of Coagulating Blood by 400 and nothing else.

    I'm pretty sure 90% of the player base is in agreement on Mag DK's needing this damage. It's just crazy that we got a cost reduction in our heal instead.

    STOP GIVING MAG DK'S SO MANY HEALS. I DONT WANT MY BURST DAMAGE ULT TO SHIELD ME! IT'S EMBARASSING, I'M HERE TO DO DAMAGE NOT SHIELD MYSELF

    I would love to have "an IRON atronach" instead of that "Magma Armor"
    that would be fantastic.

    Also, this class needs a class execution ability and some good interaction with the "Burning" status effect.

    Well, I must admit that deep breaths is a perfect skill for my solo build as it is: It provides a burst heal when more enemies are around, does decent aoe damage and interupts casters. I.e. three effects in one skill. That said I agree that magDG needs an execute ability.

    After a few fights on the pts i can confirm the mag DK class is even worse now than in proc pvp. It's truly incredible just how bad this class is for pvp.

    This is just like doing 60% less dps than any other class but the devs just wont fix it.

    DK isn't a DLC class, that's the issue. Worse, it's been nerfed into nothing more than a support class, the only reason it's even taken is for utility. Engulfing Flames, Stagger on Stone giant, Chains, Talons, Obsidian Shield, DK in trials is a buff-bot and everyone knows it. But don't worry, we get amazing passives like 5% increased Health recovery, when recovery is already halved in combat and now halved again due to Battle Spirit. 1.25% increased Health recovery, anyone?

    Slot all damage skills just to still deal less than every other class. Give up a passive and our ultimates for sustain just to still have less sustain than every other class. Give up all of our damage and healing for durability just to still die in 1-2 hits. Give up all of our range and mobility and receive nothing in return. Every other ability sacrifices damage for heals, just to still have less healing than every other class receives with just one button press. DK just needs like 2-3 abilities that are actually viable. They don't have to be broken, they don't have to burst heal + heal over time + damage + stun + apply passives like Arctic Blast, which is still cheaper than our burst heal, nor do they need to be completely free + purge + grant sustain + grant Major Sorc/Brut like Netch, when DK doesn't even have a purge and the Major Sorc/Brut buffs still aren't working for DK. They just need to be able to actually compete with every single other overloaded class out there. Literally just asking for the bare minimum here.

    The next update to the PTS patch notes is set to drop tomorrow. Still holding out hope that maybe this time around ZOS has actually listened and we will see some meaningful changes to DK, but I'm not holding my breath.

    No execute, no purge, no range, no delayed damage, no burst, no %Max HP heal, no Stam spammable, no sustain skill, no critical chance or critical damage of any kind, worst mobility, worst sustain, worst healing by far, and parsing the lowest of any class in the game. No flat hp, no %HP, no Major Protection, Minor Protection, Minor Resolve, no% damage reduction, no %damage boosts, need to use our ultimate off cooldown for resources just to still have less sustain than every other class. ZOS, please just pick literally any of those and fix it. The class has been treated as an afterthought and left to die.

    as for pve, well, there will always be a class on top of another and dk are not so far back behind to justify so much tears ...

    This skill is bad mainly because only if the first hit reached someone, the second hit can be fired.

    The second hit should always fire no matter the first hit reached anyone or not.
    No improvement on Cyrodill servers -> no ESO plus renewal.

    Ah yes, the great heal from inhale. Losing that 1k heal that costs 4k magic would truly be a shame.

    For real tho this ability is attempting to do too many things and ends up not doing any 1 thing well. It heals and deals damage and stuns and then deals damage again. But the initial heal and damage are really weak and the second damage after 2.5 seconds isn't strong enough to accomplish anything.

    You are better off using dragon blood if you want to heal and talons if you want to do damage. saves magic. The only reason anyone uses inhale in pvp if for the channel interrupt/stun. This only becomes semi useful in large groups. But even then the stun us out classed by graveyard, streak and fear.

    If this ability instead did an AoE burst on the timer and could hit someone for 5-8k damage then mag DK's could actually hold their ground. There would be an actual reason to avoid staying too close to you for too long. Right now it just doesn't matter since a mag DK will never out damage any other damage dealer in pvp.

    It is highly unlikely that outright changes will happen to the class this patch. Mag may get some cost increases but that is about it.

    Ya If they actually did anything it would probably be the first time they made an actual change/addition to a class after the first test cycle of any new content.

    Were basically hoping for at best next quarter when the next pts cycle starts they will make the changes then but honestly nothing will happen. It took us making a step by step tutorial video on every bug that dragon leap had during the one major combat update a few years ago to get even that fixed. and they still ended up giving us the crap morph of leap for fire damage. No new abilities were added and the biggest change was that the less powerful dk leap got changed to fire damage instead of physical.

    DK's are a lot worse now than they were back then but even when the entire player base agrees on this they will still probably follow the standard: Make new update ---> Fix a couple of things over the 1 month test period and not make any real changes.

    DK has been ignored for multiple cycles. After all this time, I don't mind waiting another week or two for changes to show up on the PTS, but the class is clearly struggling, and going another entire cycle without any attention being spared whatsoever is too much to ask at this point. I would honestly just give up and play another class, but I can't without losing all the achievements and progress on my main. If class change tokens were implemented, DK would lose half its players overnight.
