I wonder if they're triggered by not logging in and claiming your daily reward within a certain period of time after they become available? I get notifications from Blades like that, especially on the night of the week that the free golden treasure chest drops.
Many companies offer a more nuanced checklist of options for mailing lists, so we could choose to have them send us info about events but not daily rewards, or about crown store sales but not events, etc.

I missed another one this month because I forgot to grab it with all the swapping.
You can opt out of marketing mails in the website. That includes these login rewards reminders.

The "reminder" emails don't bother me, because it's easy enough to delete any emails you aren't interested in, regardless of sender or topic. At least the "reminder" emails have subject titles that tell you what they're about, which means you don't have to actually open it and read it to see whether it's anything you're interested in reading-- unlike some of the junk emails I get from other senders.

unfortunately, I have found that my email starts sending messages from addresses i delete without reading directly to spam folder. so nowadays, I open everything even if I don't read it and delete it as soon as I open it. missed out on multiple e-mails that would have been nice to have read in a timely manner - and that's just the ones I found in my spam folder before they were automatically deleted.
so... yeah
