I am so bitter yet again they forgot about healers in changes! Would it of hurt to look at sets and skills that relay on critical healing... like come on power surge is useless and I know few sets are going to hurt just the same now... hollowfang, combat physican

Still what are you angry about?

I mean I'm not angry about it anymore, been having fun in another game

Oh how long a list I have...

Racial passives still not really balancing things (and Bosmers still don’t have stealth).

The new green cp tree micromanaging nightmare.

Tanks gutted (in fact the armor changes in general).

    ....

    This patch is just awful.

overall I dont hate this patch that much.....for cp rework I have almost 1500 so already at great spot with it xD
but green tree in cp is so annyoing done making it almost useless at all if we dont have nerves for this....
and armor changes also not not great, especially heavy in pve, light in pvp with stamina already dominating pvp for years now

Not only do I dislike this patch, but I can honestly say I hate it more than any patch out of any MMO I have ever played before. I usually favor tank mains. Now I am stuck spamming heavy attack to keep enough stamina to dodge that nonblockable magical attack that I am going to take additional damage from. I can no longer offer the same buffs/debuffs I offered my team. It wasn't a "patch" it was a total re-work from where I sit. It doesn't even feel like I am playing the same character anymore. Before I felt like a true support, offering everything but damage to the team. Now? I am a taunt/block/dodge bot. If I am lucky, it will be an enemy that graciously allows me enough stamina to throw up a 10 second buff now and then.

Yep, add me in this list. I was going to purchase a year of ESO+ for myself and a friend next month, but not now. Not ever. I'll vote with my wallet and ZOS can do without my money from now on.

I have plenty of examples from this massive nerf fest, so I'll just post a couple of them.
What was the reasoning behind slowing harvesting back down regardless of points spent? Being punished in an overhaul is a surefire way to guarantee loss of income.
Why are all CP perks locked behind other perks? This Fallout style of spending points before you can spend points is ***.

Now after all the time invested my ability to gather mats is cut by half and several other things because I don't have the required GOZILLIAN CP's to unlock everything, Rapid Maneuver, which not long ago was changed so I had to drag myself to the PVP world that I hate with a passion to unlock a second time is utterly useless now and even though I was able to move fast with it on my 60/60/60 mount now it feels like I'm running in mud to get around. I could go another several paragraphs on the combat, health and the rest but why bother it's now a CP grind and nothing will be changed to fix it.

On the whole I'm fairly happy with the new CP tree - it's given my toons room to grow and reasons to get more CP. It's in need of some serious adjustment because

    - they messed up the armour balance badly
    - the totally overdid the sustain nerf, especially for healing (the fact *every* guide says 'put the first CP into rejuvenation and always slot it' says a lot)
    - they got the crafting tree passives badly wrong
    - there are a bunch of bizarre ways to use/abuse the setup

but given the complexity of the change I'm not surprised and I'm sure the next update will rebalance the worst of whatever turns out to be broken.

The rest of it though is a mess: they should only have reset the skills on the bugged characters (the rest of us could have used the free skill reassign options anyway), and they've still not fixed the biggest problem with CP as a whole. It's not auto-assignable and there's no skills advisor for it.

For most players it's ludicrous that there is no simple option to use 'default' CP assignments based on class/role and maybe hints. Instead we have everyone who doesn't want to micro-optimize forced to blindly copy Alcast, Xynode and other similar sources as a chore when it could be automatic so they didn't have to care in the first place and just got better as they played.

Definitely not happy, but not to the point to hate it.
It is not the firs time ZOS to drop something in beta.
Looking at the trees in curent state shows me that i never will have same power as before this nerf, aven after some grind.

It had to be actually better for low level players, at the same time my character at around CP400 on another account feels nerfed to the ground and doesn't have some sensible difference between slotting CP and without CP. (Even worse on my main i have dropped higher DPS without CP, bur may be it was lag).

Most likely will be making for some daily crafting (and advancing on couple solo games waiting for me from long time) until this mess is fixed to bearable level.

Racial passives are in dire need or rebalancing....again.

There are a LOT of skills (especially ones that proc on crit) that are in dire need of rebalancing. (because crit got nerfed so hard)

There are a TON of gear sets that proc on crit that are now in dire need or rebalancing. (because crit got nerfed so hard)

CP 2.0 is a substantial nerf to DPS. AND survivability. (1100CP)
When you look deeper there really is not much "horizontal progression" either. For example: Melee dps are not going to "horizontally progress" into the healing or tanking slotables. And for the DPS slotables there are very clear winners and losers.

The red tree is 1 dimensional and boring. Sorry, its BORING.

    and the green tree...

    - It is an absolute micromanagement nightmare.
    - I don't have an issue of the nodes in the tree.
    - I have a huge issue with what nodes you need to slot in order for them to be active.
    - Constantly swapping between a combat set up, a movement setup, a gathering set up and a crafting set up is just miserable. Just completely miserable. Didn't even mention fishing...or stealth...or chest farming...or...

Also. The icing on the letdown cake:
The armor penalties. There are just so many other, better, more elegant ways of handing armor bonuses (without penalties).

I honestly just really don't want to play right now. I think of something I wanna do, then I hop on and remember they want me to commit 25% of my slotted green passives to regain the ability to harvest at normal speed and I get mad and log off. The whole thing is just a slap in the face.

I hate it because of the bother. I mean, parts of the redesign are pretty good, and the new CP system is way better from technical point of view than the old one. Even if parts of it do smell of creating mechanics to fit a designs, instead of trying to come up with mechanics that fit the game.

However... Sigh... It's all just so tedious and uninteresting and aggravating. I haven't been playing actively since last fall. The ever increasing grind, the aggressive monetization and the silliness of the ever constant world ending story lines was taking its toll. There was, however, some interest being slowly rekindled within me, as I was finishing my latest Skyrim playthrough, and was thinking of maybe subbing for a month or two. You know, get back back on the saddle and finish some of those DLCs and work a bit on my homes. But now... Urgh, not feeling it at all.

I posted about it before, when the changes were announced, that redesign the whole thing form the ground up, again, for the umpteenth time, was not gonna go down well with the player base. That forcing people to relearn the game again, for the umpteenth time was gonna *** of a large portion of the player base. And ZOS should really think it over well and good, before doing such drastic changes again. Are these changes really a good idea? Are they going to improve the game? Are they worth the cost in aggravation they will cause?

Like, I just spend 6 hour long session workign though the changes. Only logged onto three characters, and only manged to do a possible usable CP layout on one of them, and did not touch skills and gear at all. I then spend several hours trying to figure how to recreate my build on my current "most active character played" and failed. The key ability my build had is now gone. The things I used to be able to do are now impossible, and the gear I have - all those unique named bits I collected, transmuted, and golded - are know useless. Sigh.

I got close, mind you, but at the end failed to replicate what I was previously able to do consistently. That key ability, around which the whole concept behind the character was build around, is now gone. I have to rethink my whole build, quite possible swap all 13 pieces of gear I am using, and try to come up with something new. And it's not that the character is ruined or anything, I still can play it just fine, and it is still more than capable of doing the content. It's just that everything is now clunkier, slower, more tedious and bothersome. The thing is, that the game was better under the previous rule set. It now offers an objectively worse play experience to me.

Now I do have some ideas, so maybe things are salvageable. It's just that I have to work on it. I have to put in a lot of thought and effort and time to make the game"fun" again. I have to forget all my past experience. And to top it all, there is no guarantee that any of those ideas will work in the end. And testing them is gonna take a lot of time, and require a lot of farming for new gear. I even thought about installing the PTS just so I could figure out if any of the new gear and skill and CP configurations would work but... Well that does not sound fun either. Just way too much of a hassle - this game is supposed to be fun entertainment, not headache inducing work.

I just wanted to continue playing the game I knew and understood, to do content and finish up those quest lines. But now... Now I am faced with endless hours of farming for gear and testing stuff and doing frigging calculations - yeah I literally did an hours worth of calculations today, in trying to figure out how to reach the point where I was yesterday. And I *** hate doing math!

So yeah... Not a happy camper at the moment. And the there is all that ludicrous nonsense with the armor changes and the horrible micromanagement mini game that is the green CP tree. I don't know... I'm actually startign to feel like maybe yet another playthrough of Skyrim might be a better idea than dealing with this sortta nonsense. Maybe things will settle down in an update or two and this mess might be ironed out enough to be playable, but right now it just looks and smells like a big pile of garbage.

Will agree the Green CP mini game sucks but overall not seeing any real loss of dps and neither are my guild mates. Skinny and Alcast both have blue and red CP guides up as I'm sure do others and they are very nice.
