It's not hard really. I have 10 chars that do writs every day and if I take a few days off from playing the game for a break I will still log in just for the writs but wont do the surveys and so they build up.
That's me with just 10 chars, imagine the dudes with a full 18....
I use to do them everyday as I got them but even that takes time now with all the other stuff I have to do as well (writs themselves/endeavors now/Fighter's & Mage's Guild quests for Bastian & Miri Rapport Points & Skills and any event stuff like atm PvP stuff for Event Tickets). It all adds up!
So now I simply bank them all and don't do any until I have a stack of 5. Then I go and do those. Most days I am doing none now so it's like FREEDOM! I still do the jewelry ones I get tho as I need the raw materials to finish golding out all my chars new gears since the Champ Point 2 system came into effect....Edited by Paulytnz on July 4, 2021 3:17PMPlease support my Quality of Life Suggestions here:

I understand these things take time, but it is part of the game. And truly, I feel your pain, not arguing with you. I have limited time as well.
Right now, I would love more CP points and it take a lot of time trying to get them...but that is the fun for me.
If I choose not to, the game is still playable, with plenty to do.
Don't get me wrong, riding across Cyrodiil to get to destinations after dying many times is a real waste of time....but it makes the game more challenging.
Guess my fear is people just buying their way to the top and the game inflations just goes from there.1 -

Writs on 27 characters per day. Combined with not collecting surveys frequently, and if you let your surveys stack up for a couple weeks, it can easily break triple digits.

So you have time to do writs on 27 characters every day but not to go to the site and collect the materials? I'd rather be out in the world than sitting at a station hitting keys.2 -

✭Why There Isn’t A Survey Assistant:
Likely due to just how much goes into getting returns from a node.
- Individual character’s level
- Individual character’s crafting level
- CP passives
- Actually farming a node and possible interruptions
- RNG as to the actual returns
- Accurate survey results
- Acceptable survey results
All of these add up to definite frustration at the results from players. Right now it just seems extremely difficult to get an acceptable assistant.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Personally I would only consider purchasing such an assistant if they fix the Plentiful Harvest bug (in addition to the Western Skyrim one, of course). An assistant wouldn’t be worth it to me if it didn’t take that CP into consideration, and ~40% instead of 50% chance to get double mats adds up when surveys are in the triple digits. One of the reasons I’m sitting on them right now.1 -

✭I'd gladly have an assistant for them. I tend to harvest them 10 to 20 at a time from a stack when I need the resources.1
