Thank you for the confirmation!! That's pretty awesome. Rewarding the crafters among us finally - and hopefully we can start to quash those bot farmers with our own dedication and hard work for a change! That's put a HUGE smile on my face
The passive clearly says "yields from normal nodes" why would it specify normal if it is supposed to work with abnormal nodes? (Survey nodes)
So if it works with survey nodes, file a bug report. It's certainly not intended and would as you say, harm the economy. Perhaps not at the moment, where every realms suffer from inflation. But at some point.
Between this and the 'bonus refining' one we might be able to bring the prices on of platThe passive clearly says "yields from normal nodes" why would it specify normal if it is supposed to work with abnormal nodes? (Survey nodes)

Survey nodes are pretty normal to me. They are the nodes that I normally interact with. With 18 characters doing daily writs thus producing surveys I hardly ever interact with any other kind of node.
One could say that the 'abnormal' nodes are the psijic ones; the tooltip specifies it as to not expect to get twice as much region specific gear from them.

will make chromiums plummet too though. them chr. drops from daily writs was a very good source of income for me lately..
not complaining btw..

EDIT: Just the possibility of this being intended, will make me do crafting dailys from now on to store up on surveys.

Everything that does spawn unconditionally in the world, is normal to me. Surveys are certainly not.
But I will be happy to have it be thus. Everyone profits from prices dropping. Other than vultures, of course.

Language is the same on Live for the plentiful harvest passive, and it's always worked on Live for surveys.
I think the "normal" nodes in this case is meant to exclude things like heavy sacks, apothecary satchels, etc...
Main chromium source for me is crafting writs.Thank you for the confirmation!! That's pretty awesome. Rewarding the crafters among us finally - and hopefully we can start to quash those bot farmers with our own dedication and hard work for a change! That's put a HUGE smile on my face

Yeah, I don't know how PC or XBOX are, but trying to get a node out in the world in the base game is next to impossible against bots - so I'm really hoping this stands for survey nodes because they are pretty much the ONLY node safe from bots.
I'm sitting on tons of chromium plating, but I'm not worried about their prices dropping a bit. Especially since gold jewelry is already hard to craft at the current pricing.... I mean 1.5 million gold worth of mats into a fully gold jewelry set (on PS4 NA) is crazy flex time! lol.
But I'm glad that surveys will be of strong value finally, and that doing writs diligantly will pay off... it makes it genuinely feel like being a crafter is of valueBravo.

Wait there is jewelry crafting writs ? Damn. I knew i should have finished Summerset at least one time.

Like many people, I destroy jewelry crafting writs upon getting them. The material costs are too high.
Actually, if the costs were to drop, those writs might be worthwhile. Hmm ...
Remember that the current Harvester passive works with surveys on live. So why wouldn't the CP 2.0 version work with surveys?
Normal nodes in this case refers to harvest nodes, as opposed to mats that can be "harvested" from monsters, heavy sacks, wet gunny sacks, etc.
Now, it is true that during events, only the nodes "in the wild" will yield potentially double rewards, but it's also limited to a particular zone (with the recent Explorers Event as an exception).
Regardless, the double-harvest passive currently works with surveys on Live, so it's no surprise that the new version will work with surveys.
I do hope this might reduce the botting, but I suppose as long as there are players willing to buy from them, nothing will change. I don't look forward to Dreugh Wax falling below the 4.4K currently. Alloy and resin has crept up a bit, so I'm trying to sell as much as I can now while the price is high, since selling Wax is hard right now. Just my one trading guild has an entire page of Wax just sitting there, with sub 5K prices.
So, I'm preparing for lower prices on mats overall, which is somewhat unfortunate considering that most of my income comes from selling mats. But, maybe that will mean that the outrageous prices on dungeon/trial motif pages will come down if those players don't have to spend as much on alchemy and improvement mats.
This, then you do surveys you randomly get double amount. This is the double-harvest passive.Remember that the current Harvester passive works with surveys on live. So why wouldn't the CP 2.0 version work with surveys?

A little concern I had: Has someone tried refining materials with the new passive? I have refined thousands of raw materials and have not gained a single golden material. Normally I see a roughly 10% for those on live.
