They did that already. The first 3 ticks are considered light attacks now which works with sets that also boost light and heavy attacks. Seargents mail only boost heavy attacks and will only boost the last tick of damage now. Pair it with magma armor ulti on the DK to counter the squishiness of it.
These builds has been around since 2016 I'm surprised to finally see calls to nerf it.

In terms of "finally" nerfing it, it wasn't OP then, and its not OP now especially in comparison to the other builds out there. It is just another option, one really only suited to two classes.

Its definitely not OP, but does work pretty well if you aren't that great at PVP. I made a HA build for my sorc not knowing it was actually a thing, I just wanted to experiment. I was surprised how well it worked, but its not like you are going to one hit someone with it. I ended up shelving it and all cheese/proc builds, because I wanted to actually get better at PVP.0
