Agreed. I tried soloing some bosses with it. Moved up to dragons. Some fights are arguably worse than others with the ring.

Yesterday, without the ring I was able to solo every N.Elsweyr boss except for Zalsheem.
Today with the ring I can still solo every N.Elsweyr boss. Except Zalsheem 😂
Did survive better on the dragons though, so there's that.
For a player like me, whose dps isnt optimized and doesn't have a great rotation, the healing doesnt amount to that much.2 -
Jolsyf✭✭✭LikeI like the idea, don't have it myself and not really interested since my main stuff is vet dungeon/trial. I like it because it makes others die less in easier content (including world bosses) and even help them get better gear in the arenas while not being an broken thing on pvp.0 -

✭✭LikeOf P2W, this is supposed to be a buy to play game. If you want the new shiny stuff from newest content you have to buy access to newest content. And IMO Pale ring, while very strong is not required to play.
Anyway, after ZOS started to glue people on ground, Ring of the Wild Hunt is the one I would buy if I were into freemium mobile free2waitcrawl games. But its not on store, you have to earn that shiny by playing the game.
To add: If RNGod does not bless you when farming leads and you get annoyed and bored, go do other things and come back later.

Yeah, it's definitely a mileage will vary piece of gear. Personally when the dragons had air-time I was doing worse than if I had my regular gear, but I do like how it's fun to hang in Blood Mist with it. I've a few ideas for that.1 -
