It's kind of easy mode to say the least, imo. Try it out, you'll understand right away. Still a fun option for folks that solo a lot but I feel ZOS will nerf this into the ground next chance they get.

Only tried it out a little. It hasn't changed much for me. I can still get killed when I shouldn't if I get careless.

That said, I usually play magicka characters, where having heals of one kind just means I have to invest less in other kinds of heals, and hence isn't a major game changer.

I agree that the ring will probably be nerfed. My issue with that though is that with this type of mechanic there is little middle ground. Either the ring works in a build, or it will not. If its nerfed, it will no longer work in a build and any build where it would work, would work with out it.

Personally I think all the mythic stuff is a gimmick, only the ring that increases run speed has any real value in game.

Only used in Vateshran and group dungeons. Its effective. Pair it with Swarm Mother helmet. Keeps you alive for everything but heavy attacks

To me, it's not P2W unless you absolutely cannot progress without it. Lots of people solo content without the ring, and while the ring may make improvements to what they're already doing, not having the ring is also not impeding anyone from soloing.

This. It also isn't a magical "I win" ring either. You still have to compensate for lost portions of your build.

But right now I hate the thing because leads wont drop after 20 game hours of trying to get the drops. The loot tables and drop rates need to be looked at. It took me nearly 50 attempts to get one for the wolf mount and I have a friend that it took 120 attempts to get a lead to drop.

RNG can be evil sometimes. It took me forever to get the lead for the Font of Auri El, and now I don't even know what to do with the thing. I had a far easier time with the ring leads.

The downside is that it only works when doing damage. Any boss mechanic that (temporarily) disables you could still kill you unless you can do passive (proc) damage. So I don't think it will really replace Leeching and/or Bahrara's for me.

There are some classes which are painful to do solo content like vMA or vVH with because they have no built in heals like crit surge in their class kit.

This item makes those classes enjoyable to play.

Classes that already have these built in heals don't need pale order, like mag sorc, and as such I find it a dps loss to run it.
Great item.
Personally I think of it like a monster set (because i break a monster set to run it) and as always the question is "do i want to lose this dps for some self healing".

It makes my vampire build work, but I'd like my vampire build to work without it...

Would really like to have 2 full 5 piece sets and a monster set than gimping one of those sets for the ring.

It's over rated and no where near as good as the arm chair bandits make it sound, its nice for solo play when feeling lazy but I feel stronger and get through content much faster having a monster set and 2x 5 piece sets running vigor than I do with pale order....

Still no match for the current meta, but I enjoy it.

I worry it will get nerfed, because it's strong in solo content. Then again they wanted to close the skill gap, so maybe not.

I use it on magicka templar and magicka sorcerer - noticed a significant difference soloing dungeons (easier to stay alive so clearing faster) - I didn't have the ideal gear anyway (no monster pieces) so didn't lose a valuable slot for it - I can see why some might argue that it's not the best piece for high-end DPS builds but great for middling solo players

It's really strong for PvE where I can stack AoE dots and any incoming burst damage is telegraphed but pretty weak in PvP considering it takes doing 10K damage to get 1.9K health back. So fighting 1v1 the heals are negligible and if you're in the middle of a groups of enemies it still won't outpace the amount of incoming damage you'll be taking unless you've got a hard hitting AOE Ulti going.
I say I love it because it frees a space on my bar that would be needed for a heal and lets me focus on doing damage instead of watching my health bar doing the solo arenas.

I think its a great move in the right direction. Finally, finally, something to benefit solo players. I just really hope they dont nerf the *** out of it because its very strong in pve. Because then its going to be completely useless in pvp.

I gave up after a few ours of opening chests in Bangkorai and no lead. Nothing I want that bad. Sometimes RNG in this game has a way of sucking all the joy out of you.

Of course you can progress without it... But compare it to the alternatives available, iceheart for example. You lose a monster set, for 5k shield every 6 seconds, while the ring easily dishes out 5k heal per second, if not more. I know that survivability wise, nothing comes close to it, it is trice as strong as the pre-nerfed iceheart (that was nerfed because it was "too good at what it does", lol). How strong does the ring have to be for you to count it as p2w?

Again, I don't like to call it p2w, but it is way too strong.
