I think among us should remain where it belongs. On the shelf beside Minecraft.

Dude, Minecraft sold over 200 million copies. ESO has sold 16 million.

Exactly. It's made for the masses, not for us. I know it's fun, but it and Among Us don't belong in the era of Elder Scrolls. If anything, they belong together in the toy section.

It's extremely important to me for ZOS to stay in their lane. The mature lane.
    That's it, that's all.

I think what makes fortnite bad is its community and how it basically became a game for angry 12 year olds, not that its a bad game in its design and function.

Yeah, a lot of free to play games attract a certain type of player. I'd say it's the same for MMOs that are buy to play. I preferred ESO and its community when it was pay to play. If the move to buy to play was commercially successful only ZOS knows, but I didn't like the direction the game and its community went.

    [snip]

P2P has proven itself superior time and time again, the only exception is WoW, and I'm honestly not sure how that happened. WoW community way back in the day was good.

While not commenting on the WoW part, I agree that P2P does lead to the game having more skilled players. It seems the commitment to a subscription leads to more players being committed to learning how to play the game decently. The lower the bar to play the fewer players seem to put into figuring out how to do it well. The quality of players in SWTOR dropped dramatically when it went to the dual, sub/F2P model and the same thing happened in ESO when this game went to the sub/B2P model.

Look no farther than why some think there is a tank shortage. Tanks heavily avoid the GF in favor of better dungeon runs via their guilds. It used to not be anywhere near as bad when doing a GF run.
