Subterranean Assault Nerf

Subterranean Assault (morph):
This morph no longer applies Fracture, as Deep Fissure now affects all Armor.
This ability now recasts itself after completing, once per cast.

The recast that was added to Sub Assault doesn't in any way make up for the damage lost by not having major fracture. It's only a very minor buff in PvE, and a major nerf to stamina warden in PvP. Any good player already recast the skill on cooldown, no extra effect was needed for that. It would have made more sense to add Fracture to the base skill Scorch, and then give the morphs their unique effects. Especially considering in PvE you already have a tank to apply fracture so not sure if this change is to try and force people to ice staff tank on warden? And if it is why should stamina warden be punished for that? Overall it just seems like a change with not much foresight, and hopefully will be looked at potentially being changed or reworked before the PTS testing cycle is over.

    A narrow AOE 5,280 debuff vs the new Pierce Armor at 8,922 debuff. I mean... c'mon. You know very well everyone is going to run s/s backbar now that weren't already.

    They really need to add a small cost to netch, too. I just started playing one and the class really has everything and gives up nothing.

    Actually on live stamdens is probably the most overloaded class in pvp, so this fits the bill of them nerfing them in pvp, while buffing their pvp dps.
    Also like the other poster said just run pierce armor 9k resist reduction omegalul.

    People stacking 35k+ health and spamming the Arctic Blast heal is overperforming, but before everyone jumped on that bandwagon the class was by no means OP especially for solo PvP.

    This. Bar space is tight on warden.

    So right now on live the stam and mag morphs have the equivalent effect for your primary stat type (fracture/breach which is lowering the target's physical/spell resists). But in the new world, Deep Fissure gets both effects with the new Breach, but Sub Assult gets... an automatic recast??

    I'm with OP on this one. It's weird to say the least.

    Yes, sub Change isnt really that good. Huuge damage loss for a minor sustain buff. And also i think its kinda clunky to have an auto recast after training the every 3 second cast for 3 years now.

    Give breach or fracture (whatever it is now) to Base morph and give the morphs and unique change..

    Fracture has been removed from the game. Breach now covers spell and physical.

    It’s a typo they probably meant to says Scorch instead of Deep Fissure.

    So the way they worded the change “Since” They want Stamden to start using Deep fissure instead ? Doesn’t make sense.
