You have have full servers full of big zergs spamming AoEs without any lag or ability delay. And on top of that, there's loads of NPCs for the servers to handle.

Are we really sure that AoEs are the reason Cyrodiil is lagging?

Imperial City is physically separated into 6 upper city districts and 10 sewer sections. If ZOS were to separate Cyrodiil into 16 areas, it might improve lag and ability delay. You can have a big DC-EP fight at Chalman, a big AD-EP fight at Alessia, a bunch of DC running in circles after an AD ball group in Rayles, etc., etc. Cyrodiil's design as one massive, continuous war zone almost certainly provides different technical challenges than Imperial City's small, distinct zones.

I love the double tel var and key fragments.

I hate all the high health regen builds that want to duel me. LET ME FARM IN PEACE. You don't fight me, I don't kill you. Or conversely, I don't waste 10 minutes fighting you to die to lag or getting stuck on a rock.

Cyrodiil does have 3 different zones so to speak which are separated by the milegates. They could use the same zone transferring thing that Glenumbra/Stormhaven does where you don't need to interact with a door just walk from one end to the other. Not sure how fights in these in between areas would go though because if you cross the barrier would you then see the massive zerg waiting for you? Or will you be able to fire a projectile from one instance to another? I have no idea...

There are zerg groups who do not get decent AP. they do not get decent telvar. They only get the satisfaction of camping spawn areas to *** people off.

Do they give PVPers bad names? No, they are pvpers. They are the purest form of the bunch. The ones who simply want to grief and kill anything they see. Their goal? Your frustration.

You can claim to not be those people, that "not all pvpers..." but we all know better.

I would disagree. In my opinion, the purest form of the bunch are the players that enjoy the toughest competition (i.e. not spawn camping to incite frustration).

You know that it's true for PvE players too, right? How many times did solo PvP players got jumped by a bunch of low CP, low rank players who hit like a wet noodle, the moment they (PvP players) dropped from a platform? It's really tiresome, when you're there to get your daily and yeet to cyro, but you get stuck picking some poor sods one by one.

It also doesn't help that the game is constantly lagging and the normal strongboxes are trash. I feel like my time is being absolutely wasted farming for motifs.

I will probably just buy them next week for 10k each and be done with it.

This is absolutely not true. The PVPers that just hang out in cyro, sewer, ic with the goal to kill non-PVPers as fast as possible have no interest in 'tough competition'. Notice how much they cry when they come across a heal/tank and shield/healer that they can't kill. They'll be on forums whining about that all day.

These gankers are the lowest form of life. They are the kids who no one likes in real life. I tried a ganker and bomber build and the first 2 times I killed completely unsuspecting players it was fun, by the 5th time I did it I felt bored and a bit sick to my stomach. Knowing that there is a REAL person on the other end who was just trying to do a quest and I came along just to use some cheesy, no-brainer, no-skill combo to kill them.

The PVPers who run around cyrodil and try to kill big groups of mini zergers are slightly better. Although these people are usually the ones that complain so much when they can't kill 10+ people any more because good gear/skill/teamwork and cause ZOS to make nerfs all over the place. The REAL PVPers who go into BGs (or duel good players), who know there will be at least some competition are really only ones who can brag.

IC battles are smaller than the real massive Cyrodil ones.
And if some get constant lag on an server like CP IC while other does not, well its an client issue server lag should affect all. Just in from 3 hour on CP IC, non issues, fun run, died a lot as expected but :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

And that saved me first day, had IC quests stored up, but queues was +100, nice vWGT run on tank, healer from guild pug DD's wiped a couple of time on last boss, some times since done it vet.

And yes having the two dungeons as part of it makes sense and solves the pvp issues.
For IC espesialy during event if far more hardcore PvP than Cyrodil.

It HAS Been like that for every IC event. You could always do the dungeons as an alternative to PVP because they are a part of the Imperial City DLC. I highly doubt they will ever change that.

Wait, how is ganging up on solo players of the other alliance "hardcore" PvP? I at least have some respect for people who 1v1 me, esp if they wait for me to stop fighting NPCs. Sure, they mow me down with the current cheese, but that's at least a fair fight compared to everyone else who baits, or gangs up on me while I'm fighting.

I really miss the old days, where solo questers who didn't engage were mostly left alone. I allow others the same courtesy I want: not going to target you if you don't target me. Most of the time they kill me as soon as I turn away. One guy even chased me into another district after I let him run away from a duel, for a second kill.

Whoever said "these are the kids no one likes".. yep. Except they're not kids, they're adults WITH kids. Maybe grandkids. And they think people believe "I don't look at names so I didn't know I was chasing you across one district into another for a second kill"

OK. I was remembering the last Midyear Mayhem, where in order to get all four event tickets per day you had to do Imperial City Daily Quests and either Cyrodiil Daily or Battleground Daily. I did the Cyrodiil or Battleground daily, skipped the Imperial City daily, and ended up with two event tickets per day. I would be happy if ZOS gave us the option of ICP/WGT whenever they offer event tickets tied to Imperial City.

Turn Milegates in Cyrodiil into loading screen gates so Cyro can be cut up into four separate instances? Only problem is players could camp and farm the Milegates cause your physical body loads into the world faster than your client does.

Maybe Milegates should have Faction Guards controlling Coldfire Ballista that automatically target you within a certain proximity, so you can't just camp.
