I love playing EP

Every day I get to log in, grab my coffee, and the only faction out and about is EP. We run the map completely, take all the scrolls, and push the other factions to their gates. It's great fun for me and all my group mates.

Right now, EP has 247 points. [snip]

I hope this continues like it has for the last few campaigns - its the easiest way for me to get my transmute stones. I've even started PvP on non-PvP chars, and building up a good supply.

My sincere thanks to all the group leaders in EP, particularly those who run at the timeframe as me - it is a pleasure.

That explains why DC has been zerging Blackreach so hard lately. It's annoying to only have 30+ groups of DC to fight but it's better than a dead campaign. Let's keep it as is and if anything it would be nice for some EP to faction change to DC/AD

EP has Greyhost, DC has Blackreach, poor AD has no where to go.

And I love playing AD because low pop definitively means more challenge and fights nonstop.

Well said, op. It's a war. And a war means winning by any means possible. I mean...if we has trouble winning with even numbers, then the only solution is to outnumber the other factions. And making AP is a means of gold. So why not cap everything. If there are no players to fight against, how else can we make AP.

Everyone says they want to fight outnumbered, then switches to the most populated faction. I gotta say though, props to the Grey Host DC guilds for sticking it out.

Long term? It have been going on for years. In the last 1 year ep almost always win the campaign. Casuals player left dc/ad to join ep since thats where you can find group willing to take and direct them (gao and kush). The other faction mostly vet faction loyal player or new player. The OP is not exception, a lot of casual player switch to ep.

It’s lame being able to switch factions. So glad my DC Grey Host guilds are loyal to their alliance whilst AD&EP players seem to switch a lot.

This just isnt possible. See there are two types of players....those who play for the win (group up, play organized) or those who play for 'good fights' and 'for the underdog' and dont care about the winning of the campaign (faction swappers, solo players, bombers, gankers ect). So given those two types you can attribute those winning campaigns to them caring about the wins, and those losing the campaigns to that they just dont care. If they dont care they wont leave because that isnt why they play in the first place. See how that works?

Many people in my DC guilds have simply stopped playing or have moved on to Blackreach as other people pointed out. Honestly with the amount of lag and crazy tactics we've had to put up with for the past who knows how many months I don't blame them.

Honestly something might be wrong with me because I still try to fight the EP despite being outnumbered 10 to 1 and I'm not even a good 1vXer. I'm more of a duelist.

I too love EP but wil be crossing over to AD to help balance pop bc we (EP) are too many lol I also do not like my faction owning all scrolls and then gating the enemy.

Its really crappy right now. Everyone just goes to the lowest pop faction and PvDoors for extra AP. If they see a group, even smaller than they are, they siege because only stamcros can afford to purge right now.

Seriously, if I logged into a campaign like that I would just turn back around. I've been in enough campaigns where EP shows up with zergs to counter the small number of ADs trying to take back their gate keeps, and it loses any chance of being fun really quick. Cyrodiil can be alot of fun (the back and forth AD and EP get between BRK, Sej, and Aless can be an absolute blast), but that fun is contingent on actual pvp happening. And that doesn't happen when one faction has the other two gate locked and farms them for AP.

my first 30 day campaign participation was in Sept. '15...60 something campaigns later (more actually I guess because I play both servers and have toons on multiple factions) - I have to say: my favorite cyrodiil times are always those tough down to the last days close score campaigns...

best of all are when all three factions have a shot at winning...

I've experienced a good bit of being gated over the last 5 years, serves little purpose for healthy gameplay...

Does EP actually enjoy this? A 21k score lead, an utterly dead Campaign (except for Poplocked EP) - do people just not PvP anymore? Is fighting guards fun? PvDoor? Delves?

Devs need to step in and figure out a way to balance this. It's ridiculous at this point as it keeps happening. For the past year, EP has consistently done this almost every Campaign and they cry foul when DC/AD win by nightcapping once or twice throughout the entire YEAR. But even then, DC/AD have never had more than a 10k lead on the FINAL DAY. 21k lead a full NINE DAYS before the Campaign's end.

This is malicious for the state of the game's PvP community to deny it any longer. Players say they want fair fights and they play the lowpop faction and then they'll swap over and play EP.

EP does not care, truly.

they had all scrolls any were missing ONE DC and AD home keep, and STILL brought 50+ faction stack raids to PvDoor.

gave AD a solid 170k AP Dtick at BM though.

watching them faction stack and pop 15+ siege at empty tri keeps PvDoor is incredibly sad to watch.

no self respect, at all.
