They do...every 6 months they purge all the bots and the farming spots will be clear for a month, then the bots slowly start returning. It's been happening for six and half years now.

Wouldn't work. That would just require a simple change in code on the bot end.

A complex minigame for each thing that can be farmed. It's the only way to be sure.
