✭There are Snowhawk mobs in Old Orsinium, one of the public dungeons in Wrothgar, a zone released way back in 2015. I can't remember if they were something else before, but I ran the dungeon just now on an alt, and some mobs were definitely named "Snowhawk mage".0 -

This year is the Skyrim chapter, so they're giving us Skyrim themed stuff. Altmer and Summerset revolve heavily around mages, so we'll get a mage robe outfit.
Put that together = winterized mage robes.
I don't think they mean to imply that the Summerset event is supposed to celebrate Snowhawk mages, just that they made a Skyrim mage outfit and needed an event to put them behind. Seemed close enough.5 -

I think its also easier for the design team when they can just work on staff around one theme for a year and the content team can place it at their leasure and also decide on events during the year and dont have to plan every event for the year already months ahead...1 -
