Elemental Catalyst, New Healer Set?

Being that it only lasts 5 seconds I am not sure if this will become a healer set. That would require them to do a FP every five to six seconds. Yes, top healers can probably handle that but time will tell.

Yeah, with the New Moon nerf that just came in, I am probably switching out NMA for this set on the front bar on my sorc.

I mean, MK/Z'en supports currently constantly manage their stamina to keep below a certain threshold while juggling a handful of DoTs. And do a bit of healing on the side.
Incorporating a FP every five seconds shouldn't be too hard, compared to that.

Might as well just run Elemental Catalyst and Zens on a Warden healer for the minor vuln.

This didn’t stop stone giant from becoming a tank skill or power of the light being a healer skill.

Gonna use this on my magCro PvP healer/debuffer, along with Mending (aka Healing Mage) on the back bar, and BRP destro on the front bar. Spam Radiating Regen to apply the Mending debuff to all nearby enemies, and spam Impulse to apply +18% Crit damage debuff to all nearby enemies as well, thanks to this set

PoL debuffs have a 9-second duration so it fits much better with the buffs and debuffs a healer had to keep up. And again, as I said, skilled experienced healers would likely do well keeping the buff up. However, I have found that less experienced healers are challenged keeping to an actual rotation to keep buffs/debuffs and more up.

I'd personally put EC and MK on healer and leave the Zen to magDKs. Whenever I see healers with Zen, either the uptime of 5 stacks is low or they barely do any healing other than a healing springs. In which case they might as well go full dd.
