Thrassian Stranglers, What Was The Point?

    This mythic was worth the pain of changing specs, losing monster set and a lot of grind to find. It benefited playstyle and thinking around how to use it effectively and rewarded me for doing this.

    The changes are going to make this entirely useless. The requirements to get this to a place where it becomes useful is pretty rare. For solo content, which is what I mostly do, I like to take my time in dungeons - this is why I solo because I don't like to rush through things with a group. The 30second timer is trying to force me to rush content again. I really do not like that!

    Yet another mediocre set to go with most sets in this game that are just similar and bland. I really have to find a more interesting game with better risk vs reward, that rewards off the cuff character creation.

    This is the problem with Mythic items with the current balancing format, You put in work for an item and then a few weeks later it gets destroyed.

    I honestly don't understand the obsession with making everything for Mag & Stam. Just make cool items for each independently.
    Not everything needs both stats and making them independent leads to interesting choices such as using Pel's.

    If you think the set is overperforming sure, make it slightly less, but the timer make it useless now

    Seems like in couple updates all mythics would be purely rp flavour. Not sure I'll be assed to farm another one when it drops knowing how zos handling adjustments, why bother even.

    This is called "ripping off" tbh, but I don't want to say that because I've good faith in their intentions. But cheating people only until reaching enough sales, then changing what they sold to something complete trash.

    it's like selling me Lokke dagger and when sales have done & I look my inventory, I see Ruby Ash Dagger. Sales done, ZOS got their money already.

    This trade has ethical problems that can be complained to authorities I think.

    I really wish they would either remove the duration, or make the stacks gained on enemies who die that you have damaged rather than landing the killing blow.

    The damage definitely needed to be toned down but they also gutted the usefulness of this set.

    If I were in charge I would go in a similar direction: stacks last 30 seconds but the timer is only active in combat, remove the killing blow requirement, cap stacks at 10 with each stack giving 90 weapon/spell damage and 2% damage taken.

    The original item is so hilariously over powered it's almost beyond comprehension. There should never be a situation where a single item is 500% more powerful than a 5 piece set bonus.

    It is but we need to make sure to give our opinions now. Historically almost any changes that make it past week 3 PTS stay through to the patch.
