Of course not. They only care about the content of our wallets. This is becoming increasingly more obvious with everything they do and even more with everything they fail to do.

    For my two cents:

My internet speed here is ridiculous. I literally spend days downloading and updating this game. When the weather's good, it's about a gigabyte per hour... when the ISP isn't throttling and if no one is checking e-mail. I have cultivated patience regarding my ability to play ESO. That said...

Sometimes I lose power during a storm. I don't call the electric company to ask about compensation. I've had my water cut out because the mains were being worked on. I didn't call the town to ask about compensation. I lose internet very, very frequently. I don't expect compensation from my ISP. Occasionally we lose hot water because the furnace is being worked on. I don't ask for compensation for that either.

Planet Earth is literally experiencing a pandemic the likes of which most now living have never seen before. It's up to us to take care of each other and help out as best we can. It's not required or expected because it's just what you should be doing if you want to be a part of a community. No one will kick you out of the community if you don't, probably, but everyone will know where your loyalty and values lay in the future should you choose to refrain. With that as a backdrop, what possible reason does a video gamer have to ask compensation from a company who runs a 24/7 MMO when the reason for the delay given is literally that they are working on it? Would you prefer they not work on it? Seems odd.

Furthermore, if general decent behavior seems unreasonable, and you feel somehow entitled because you pay for a subscription, consider - it's in the Terms of Service:

ZeniMax does not guarantee that any Services will be accessible or available at all times, in all countries and/or all geographic locations, at any given time, or that ZeniMax will continue to offer any particular Services for any particular length of time. (1st sentence of section 6)

i don't think reward is proper word
some companies give bonus items for caused inconvenience
and even if don't need or don't care for this items it feels better than just simple "sorry for inconvenience"

What I'd like is some reward for not being able to do dungeons, trials, arenas or BG's ever since Greymoor came out.

I'd be happy with 50 Transmute Crystals at least, which was my stated goal before the game freezes started.

One thing is unforeseen circumstances with which you can not fight, and another thing is this, which has become commonplace. And please note why the NA server with this all right. Don't you think that's strange?

That's what I'm talking about. I'm not saying we get paid mountains of gold. But at least some small consolation rewards could be implemented I think.

On EU-PC the reward for long maintenance is usually more, unplanned, maintenance later that day. Not that the fact it is in the middle of the day here matters. They're a joke.

Probably unpopular but I don't believe rewards should be given for extended maintenance. Now I like free stuff as much as the next guy but people have to accept that sometimes things go wrong in the online world and when they do they don't need to apologize for it through rewards. One reason is the old why are you complaining, you got this minor thing. Now if its something like the Sony hack where they need to entice people back. But a day's maintenance is nothing. I think WOW was down three days once and they're pretty good at this stuff. It just happens sometimes and there's no reason to be upset over it.

    *I'm not exactly happy either*

I read this twice, just to be sure. Is it April 1st? or are you drunk or high or both? What makes you think you are entitled to anything? You had to wait to play a game for more than 3 hours!! Oh the injustice of it, will you now need to have therapy?

It never ceases to amaze me how entitled some people seem to think they are.

Thank you for taking care. But many people are of the same opinion as you see. I will explain my position: I do not demand a billion crowns or anything else. I just wish there was something more than just "Sorry" over the years. Every such technical work only pushes away from the project. I would like more understanding on the part of developers can smooth these points.

Then I think with this approach, interest in the project will only fall from many people. This is also not very good for the company in financial terms.

Only ‘reward’ I care about is ZOS getting their act together and sorting this out.

    It happens

    - every Event
    - almost every maintenance
    - every Patch

Nothing they have done has fixed this and they are now revising the gameplay to adapt to their poor servers

Maybe Google can give them the bollocking they so richly deserve and push them into action
