check out youtube if u need inspiration of how a nice melody on that instrument could sound like or make a couple of them... but the way it is atm its just cruel to the ears, and
i hope everyone who uses it too often gets auto logged out of the game as often as possible -.-'

In Asia and the middle east you will have a lot of music that uses more than just half tones and that's exactly why the Khajiiti music is the way it is.
The " just can't appreciate" argument whenever someone doesn't like something is stupid imo.
Isn't he entitled to his opinion, isn't his dislike of the emote as valid as anyone's liking of it?
It was just a polite request for a QOL change. You can disagree with the proposed changes or suggest an alternate solution.
But arguing about someone's taste in music seems kind of pointless.
Note: OP just has an issue with this emote specifically and the fact that it is being spammed.
First of all I don't see what kind of "argument" you are thinking I have made there. I merely made a factual statement. There are people who can appreciate quarter tone etc music and people who can't. I assumed OP was someone who can't.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course but if, as you suggest, both sides of the argument are equally valid because they come down to personal preference, then proposing the removal of something that the other side likes is the exact same as arguing someone's taste in music. So it deserves to be called out as such, hence the "he can't appreciate a different music system", suggesting that it actually is liked by others.
[...]
A factual statement would have been: "The OP doesn't like the emote, especially when it's being spammed at wayshrines."
You implied, that he doesn't like this type of music at all, which is blatantly wrong if you read the entire post. Then you argued that he dislikes it, simply because he isn't able to properly appreciate it. Which is what I took issue with.
Also I didn't say I agreed with removing the emote entirely. But surely changing the melody or giving everyone the option to mute emote music can at least be discussed.
You are trying to read more into that than there is.
Now of course that statement is wrong if what OP has clarified later on is true, since he can appreciate it after all
But it's still not an argument and it wasn't clear from just the original post

Bei allem Respekt Ratzkifal, er liest nicht mehr hinein, er liest tatsächlich den gesamten Text.
With all respect, Ratzki, he isn't reading more into it, u missed out reading the entire entry post. Now of course that statement is wrong if what OP has clarified later on is true, since he can appreciate it after all
Not now. Its already been in the entry. But it's still not an argument and it wasn't clear from just the original post
It was.
And why the hell are you calling me "he"? You were on my ingame friendslists for some years.... I even wrote some posts earlier, that i am a "she".
I have perfect pitch and I like esraj. The melody is soothing.
Now when few people play it simultaneously, that's a problem. As with every other instrument. I don't get it why ZOS didn't synchronize instruments in some radius or in the whole zone even. Or at least in a group - so people can group if they want to play together, or stay separately if they want to evoke some anarchy.

Did you change your name? I do not recognize you at all, sorry. Also I default to "he" when I don't know someone's gender, sorry for that too.
But back on the topic, I did not miss out reading the entire post. I read it all and your first post did not convince me that you actually know what you are talking about, only referencing some obscure examples from youtube which you didn't link either. Especially when describing it as "non-melody" , "Its awfull, its ugly, every note is off", "normal ears can survive without bleeding"...
Your second comment in the thread did a much better job there because you acknowledged there that music from different cultures has this different aesthetic. That's when I changed my opinion of your point too because I had the wrong assumption. Your first comment just made you sound clueless.
My advice, get the new achievement music box and listen to it to soothe your ears after they encountered an estrash.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlaJcetmorA The Esraj isn't nearly as annoying as that Argonian stuff!!!! However... its probably futile to wish that all can sound as harmonious as we Elves
