check out youtube if u need inspiration of how a nice melody on that instrument could sound like or make a couple of them... but the way it is atm its just cruel to the ears, and
i hope everyone who uses it too often gets auto logged out of the game as often as possible -.-'
In Asia and the middle east you will have a lot of music that uses more than just half tones and that's exactly why the Khajiiti music is the way it is.
First thing I did when this emote was released was go and find a clear recording on YouTube to listen to. I find it beautiful and calming.
To each their own.

Looks like someone can't appreciate a music system that uses more than just half tones. That's why the music feels "off" by the way.

The " just can't appreciate" argument whenever someone doesn't like something is stupid imo.
Isn't he entitled to his opinion, isn't his dislike of the emote as valid as anyone's liking of it?
It was just a polite request for a QOL change. You can disagree with the proposed changes or suggest an alternate solution.
But arguing about someone's taste in music seems kind of pointless.
Note: OP just has an issue with this emote specifically and the fact that it is being spammed.

I couldn't agree more. For anyone who's had any ear training at all, ever, they made that item as deliberately out of tune as possible. They made it out of tune on purpose is the only way it could be that bad.
Whenever possible, pull mobs to those playing this instrument, heal them or anything..please. Or, just take the awful thing out of the game all together would be even better IMO.

But having 3 lute players playing desynced and each their own melody, then add 1-2 flutes or drums and it's terrible.
Esraj sounds just fine when played solo, if your ear can handle music that isn't 100% western that it, but like all other instruments sounds awful when trying to group jam.

First of all I don't see what kind of "argument" you are thinking I have made there. I merely made a factual statement. There are people who can appreciate quarter tone etc music and people who can't. I assumed OP was someone who can't.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course but if, as you suggest, both sides of the argument are equally valid because they come down to personal preference, then proposing the removal of something that the other side likes is the exact same as arguing someone's taste in music. So it deserves to be called out as such, hence the "he can't appreciate a different music system", suggesting that it actually is liked by others.
