The line between p2w and not p2w is thin, and sometimes subjective. My personal opinion, that everything, that could provide any amount of convenience, but cannot be acquired by ingame means, is p2w. Since there is no way I could get 205 slots, no matter how much time I spend ingame playing, and since even 5 slots can be of need, if you finish all pledges in a row, rat is mild p2w.
I can't even begin to imagine what sort of 12+ hour poop-socking marathon runs of bleeding edge content where you're changing gear for every fight but somehow not taking breaks betwen fights you'd have to be running for those five inventory slots to be impacting how quickly you're burning through content.
I would get this even without the inventory upgrade. Because it’s a rat with a freaking backpack and I’ve wanted one since I saw the one in Arteum *shrugs*

I’ll name mine Charlie, I wish I could have a second one for his brother Newton. Pet rats need to live longer.

Off other players.
Lol.. you can get 200 bag space for free by playing the game and people are complaining about that 5/10 extra bagspace you can get for owning a pet... grow up..
You can get what 210 inventory slots 480 bank space, + space in your house to store items, + alternative characters bag space? 9x200=1800 bagslots and if you get really desperate you can even make your own private guild and use the guildbank to store items.
There's plenty of space to store items, those 5/10 slots aren't pay to win lmao.

pets can be bought with ingame gold, so no p2w here. I would call the mythic items p2w, there's the power that your only choice is real money.
