Um, why is my own Daedroth attacking me?

Good to point thiks out but I expect combat metric or ESO Logs can tell you if the daedroth is actually attacking you or it just seems to be looking at you while actually attacking the adds in the fight.

Ofc, Sarah said Zos is looking into this so I expect they will figure something out as they always do.

Apparently that is not the whole story. Went in DC2 on my vampire tank trying out the new skills and happened to use vampiric drain on Grobull - the *** healed back almost to full health! I don't know if that's intended, but I found it pretty funny. Not my team mates, though. They didn't seem to appreciate it much.

Sorry, that was me. Some speedy jerk with a Daedroth was zinging around very deliberately making sure I could not even tap any mobs, probably one of those people that somehow don't know loot and xp are shared, and I got sick of it and paid a Daedroth to gnaw on the summoner. I must've bribed the wrong one. Will have to keep trying...

now, before anyone points out the obvious, i know that this boss reflects ST direct damage when it's in the air (still takes AoE damage). but i noticed the Daedroth attacking me before and captured this fight with that in mind. as you can see i am trying to attack the boss only (sometimes the adds get in the way) no matter if it's in the air or on the ground. and you can see that sometimes the Daedroth attacks the boss when it's in the air, sometimes when it's on the ground. and if the Daedroth attacking me was the result of that reflect mechanic it (the Daedroth) should always attack me when the boss is floating. but it's not, as you can see in the video. so what in the Oblivion was that?

for those that do not want to bother watching the whole video (it's almost 6 minutes long) here are some time stamps -

0:34 - no adds nearby, the Daedroth is clearly running after me and is trying to attack me
0:58 the Daedroth spawns and immediately goes after me
1:47 i am deliberately attacking the boss in the air, the Daedroth is attacking the boss
2:05 same as at 1:47
2:58 Daedroth attacks the boss in the air (me attacking the boss in the air as well)
3:48 same as 0:58 (Daedroth spanws and goes right after me)
4:48 again, the Daedroth spawns and tries to attack me

so from this it seems that it can not be the reflect mechanic. that mechanic reflects damage only anyways, so the Daedroth shoud not try to attack me. so why does it do that?

any and all input will be appreciated. also, it's kind of funny, Daedroth getting pi**ed off and going after the summoner instead of boss. had a laugh..

He is trying to deliver a massage, STOP summoning. Poor creature summoned countless time, tired of fighting, gentle souls want to tend to the flowers.

Have you tried petting it and giving it treats? Studies show that this greatly improves a Daedroth's mood towards its summoner.

Wow! I've been using Maw of the Infernal for a few years and have never had this happen to me, very interesting to see here. This reminds me of that bug I've been seeing for a while now, where other players' combat pets briefly display as hostile to me in non-PVP areas before flashing back to non-hostile. Except those pets have never actually attacked me either. I don't know why your Daedroth so angy!

Be nice to the daedroth. That's all I can reasonably come up with.

Other than that, yeah, ZOS better take a look at this, and possibly disable sorc pets until they find the error in the code.
