what NPC chararacter do you dislike the most in the game?

I actually liked him.

I think Lyris Titanborn is one of the only characters I don't care for. Nothing against her, just felt like she had a cardboard personality. I'm hoping Greymour gives her some angle I can more relate to.

There's a lot of characters who had so little screentime their blandness didn't register much with me, like Mannimarco. Lyris' problem is that she was there in so many scenes, and the game has some other characters that pinged so well with me so fast that she just stands out in my memory as a big giant 'meh'.

Uh huh.
First impression on finding out he's a vampire: He'll chide his people for being overeager while feeding, but doesn't care that the village right below his castle is suffering from the blood-curse. Screw you, Verandis.
Then come to find out that he lacked the courage to hold to his convictions about not turning the Montclairs, thus precipitating the crisis in Rivenspire.
At every turn, he was completely played by Reezal-Jul. Why does Emeric think so highly of him again?
At,the Doomcrag, he fails to predict an obvious trap my Vestige saw coming a mile away (curse you, limited dialogue options!) and then makes the "noble sacrifice" to save everyone that somehow ends up handing a powerful artifact over to Molag Bal. Hmm...

Yeah, my Vestige was not happy.

As a player, I'd have been more okay with it if it it weren't obvious that writers loved Verandis and wanted us to love him too. I didn't. I thought he was a blatant Gary Stu who everyone in Rivenspire gave a free pass despite obvious problems with his actions.

Beat me to it by about 9 minutes. I can't stand Lady Laurent. At least Stuga goes away when you finally accept her dumb quest. Laurent just keeps turning up.

As far as cardboard cutout characters go, I thought Lyris was still more dynamic than Darien. It only got worse with Summerset; what little personality he had ("flirt with everything that moves") was muted to near nonexistence.

- Almost every Alfiq, because someone decided they will all have ultra-high piched voices... Hate is the wrong word... It is just talking to those (and doing any quest they are involved in) is a pain.

Stuga, of course. The jerk in Riften who chases you everywhere. Any NPC who follows you around. I want someone at a con to dress as these characters and chase the ZOS employees around everywhere, shouting their one catchphrase, until they get the hint and stop making NPCs follow you.

But in main plot:

The Prophet is *super* annoying. Claims to be blind, but can astral project right on top of you every time you go into town. And when you find out who he is: Gosh, which person is unaccounted for in the very first vision quest? Unsubtle. But ZOS doesn't have an option "Yes, I've known all along. You're an ***."

I loathe Sai Sahan, dumb old mook "protects" the amulet in the worst way possible, and then *even after I kill him*, he shows back up like a bad penny, trying to tell me what to do when I'm the one fighting all the dragons. He's so useless. Elsweyr would be twice as good if he was deleted.

That one breton girl from Stros M'Kai who blames you for her brothers' deaths if you don't keep the artifact at the end of the Betnikh questline.

Agreed, he was pretty rubbish. And how come we didn't see him in Coldharbour? The ones in Eastmarch at least got stuff done. Hopefully, in Greymoor they will also at least recognize if you are a vampire or not, that always bothered me as well.

Abnur Tharn runs a close second though. Only reason he doesn't win is that he doesn't harass me at each capital's wayshrine.

I really hated it to do that questline for completion's sake. Very annoying.

I found that most Nords are very one dimentinal im hoping greymore will change that and be another land of "lets drink and fight and drink and nord ansestors and drink" not every Nord should be like that.

Not sure about “hate” but the most jarring and disappointing for me is Sheogorath. His voice is so expressive, brash and excited but his face is completely deadpan. A rare example in the game of the voice actor getting it spot on, just a pity the animation devs weren’t on the ball.

The queen for AD. Everyone seems to love this character. She does absolutely nothing. She helps in no way during any quest.
