Why do collectors edition Greymoor customers have to wait a week to play.?

    Panicking does nothing for anyone. Besides that, panicking causes the forums to turn into a mess...

    I'm afraid physical CE people will need to be patient. I cannot even imagine how bogged down Customer Support is, from whatever technical issues have cropped up as a result of this patch to trying to get temporary access for people who ordered Physical CEs to their regular job duties.

    And make CS do their jobs from home as a result of our ongoing pandemic...I can only imagine Customer Support is trapped in the American Nightmare...

    I preordered the PS4 edition from Amazon and Best Buy. On Saturday Best said my order was about to ship and I should have it Wednesday. Amazon still hadn't given me a ship date so I canceled that one. I would have rather it come from Amazon but at least I know I'll have my copy by launch day.

    Well just because I have odd hours since the whole covid thing started does not mean ZOS does. i assume they have business hours still and hopefully I will hear something when the business day "officially" starts but I am not going to hold my breath. I heard the Physical edition is sold out in NA so, that means a crap ton of people are in the same boat. I don't envy support this next week/month.

    It used to say release June 2, PC has early access to those who pre-order. It used to be like this for each chapter including Greymore. In which case, it would make sense. Physical editions always got delivered later, but ZOS made a way for retail buyers to join beta/early-access.

    But for Greymore, they changes it later on. Right now, it does say Coming to PC om May 26, so 26 is the release, not an early-access or beta. Maybe this change hasn't been fully communicated to supplier and stores, or maybe the text on Zenimax's site is incorrect. Stores get stuff a few days early, so they can send it in time for you to have it on release, but generally not a week early. Sounds like they use the old date (June 2) as release date, which I would guess is miscommunication?

    I agree ZOS should give people a change to prove they bought it so they can start playing, and if that's not doable under current working condition, offer a statement so people know what's up. I'm sure if it's CORVID-19 related, most people can respect it, even if it sucks. But they actually used to do this on previous chapters so it makes no sense to not do now unless there is a reason, which can be told. When I had pre-ordered Morrowind Collectors edition, it was also shipped on June 5, arrived June 6, but with proof of purchase I could get it early.

    @ShenaniganSquad I noticed this a few weeks ago, impossible to log in to my support account (I'm using Firefox), just tried it again and had to switch to a chrome based browser and was able to log in fine and submit a ticket.

    Just got an email response from Zos granting me temporary access!

    Bestbuy still has not started shipping me the game, but I found out their warehouse is under two hours away. So hopefully...

    I couldn't get an answer as to whether or not we would receive a code prior to the physical item (like we did for Summerset) so for that reason I didn't order the PCE. :(

    Got an Email from the Support, that i would be able to play the Chapter but cant go there

    So I did originally request the temp code for the CE. Updated the ticket saying that I cancelled the order and no longer needed the temp code. Got a response saying that they gave me the temp code and that I would need to input the code form the box when I get it. Guess they didn't read the update to the ticket. I did buy a digital version, but I can't wait to see if my account gets banned or they remove ALL the Greymoor stuff from my account.

    If you don't input the code, which you probably won't anyway, they should register no usage of it on your account, I guess. So you should be safe. I hope. If not, was nice to have met you! (^~^)/

    So I got the authorization for the chapter, but not the pre-order bonus items. Can I assume I will get them when I send in my code from the CE boxed version?

    Going be waiting till 11th to play if player count doesn't drop... Hardware can not support their users basically right now they admitted they have known since January.
