account linking to steam

i tried to link my account to steam but its keep to show me this (There was a problem linking your account. Please try again later or contact support.)
my steam account its just linked to Bethesda account is this the reason???

Another user recently reported an issue with re-linking a different Steam account to an Elder Scrolls Online account here: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/524719/about-eso-steam-account-links#latest

As for myself, I was able to de-link and re-link the same Steam account without any issues. If you are trying to change accounts, you can look at my latest response to them on what I would do to resolve this issue.

Otherwise, have you tried disabling browser add-ons such as Ad-block? I know my ESO account page acted weird when I had my U-Block Origin and Ghostery enabled.

the problem is i just bought the game on steam and i didn't link my account before.

i disabled ad block and nothing happens

Here is a help article I searched up which should point you to the correct instructions to link a new Steam game to an existing ESO account: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/36520/kw/can't link steam

It appears that you have to use the in-game login screen to navigate to the correct menu. I hope this fixes your issue.

I have simillar problem with my account do You think You can Can you speed up handling of my case? I have got answer "I am escalating your ticket to a specialized team to ensure you receive the best possible resolution of your issue." But after a day of waiting after this escalation I'm still helpless and unable to play casuse none "specialized" contact me. My ticket number is 221009-001398. Thx and sorry to bother You.
