Because I didn't see anything like that in ESO news or social media in recent months.

I define myself as a casual that likes to push a little harder. I do my research & fit out my characters. Then the equip changes. More research. All the numbers make little sense to me in a practical sense. This stat versus that stat. It is all becoming a bit too complicated and overwhelming.
With a patch with so many major changes and additions.
At the end of the day this patch does nothing that motivates me to play again.
Vampire changes still feel like a net negative for nightblades since everyone has access (they should, but the new abilities combined with everyone havsing access to invis combined with the natural consequence of everyone running detect pots is just bad for business)
The vampire changes in general feel like they were intended as a handout to nightblades that synergises with gankers but not all Nbs are gankers and now everyone has them.
Other than that vampire changes just feel. . . Underwhelming.
Looks like gear is getting nerfed all over the place.
The trial gear is thoroughly unimpressive unless your a heavy attack sorc. Now people will drag them along to every trial as a buff bot.
Eso really needs SOMETHING to get its older players excited again, and I for one dont think this patch is it.

No, but way back when, when they started the class audit they did state in a couple of posts what their plans were, and summarizing here, they stated the order they were handling each class, they started with dks and sorcs, then templars. Nightblades were last in that order. But we never got anything. In fact they ended the audit by giving better versions of key parts of our class toolkit to others. They didnt really announce the end of the audit and instead just started on to the gear audit. Having tracked this i kind of expected something to be tacked on during the chapter but no such luck. Instead we get a vampire overhaul that ends up making vampire less universally desirable. And with the removal and change of passives acts as an indirect nerf to magicka classes.
Class balance should always be ongoing with minor changes to begin with. After all this time hitting everyone with a jackhammer just to not do anything at all with everything still so lopsided, its a bit disturbing. That they think this is balanced is disturbing.
How about exploring the new zones? Experiencing the new stories? Beat new bosses?
