What if we had a mammoth mount and the game wasn't full of idiots who would use it to stand over writ turn in areas/dolmen chests/anything that someone would find annoying?

And how exactly would that be different from people doing this now with any other type of mount? If something's blocked, it's blocked, no matter if it's a mammoth, bear, wolf or whatever else responsible for it.

The size is what makes it different. Flappy birds and normal mounts are bad enough but you can usually find an angle to get around them. Having one mount so big that it can completely cover the entire writ area so you can't even see anything will be abused

Oh please, you're at a wayshrine for a handful of seconds if you're traveling.
Ahhhh... AoC and that music. Fun times... I used to play in open world PvP serverphaneub17_ESO wrote: »... And if you have the banker and merchant, they ride alongside you!
Mûmakil/Oliphaunts!
Realistically then if that was to be added, all mounts should provide a trample/knock down effect and do 5% max health damage when running through mobs (as well as players in Cyrodiil/IC) for 1.5 seconds.Oh please, you're at a wayshrine for a handful of seconds if you're traveling.
Assuming you can 'e' the wayshrine.
If it's covered in mammoths you could be stuck there a lot longer.
Thought though - with the criminal system having been broadened to include things like some necromancy and vampire abilities, just stretch it a little more to include super large mounts.
Realistically you wouldn't want them tramping through towns. They'd be a safety hazard and also more likely to cause damage to property and roads.
