Why are we only getting daily rewards for 3 weeks out of the month?

They aren't really daily if they don't happen every day. It's mostly junk anyway, so why isn't it still daily?

Last month was because of the large patch (re-download the game) on PC. This month it is the same for console.

But honestly I'd like it if they did this every month.

Nah, I like getting free stuff. A little extra gold, AP, Tel Var or what not is always welcome at the end of the month.

Ohhhh. Ty for posting this. I also thought it was their way to address some of the criticisms when people miss days.

I also kind of like this better. Less filler, less likely I will miss too many days to get "the cool thing this month." Although I suppose it is almost the same thing if they never put high ticket items in the last week of the month.

its pretty much why they changed it so that last week of rewards is something nice, but not unique or amazing, so you are still rewarded if you log in, but if you miss some days, you still don't miss the penultimate reward

I generally prefer the stuff like AP they tend to put in week 4. Thus far, my EU character has gotten up to Vigor without having set foot in Cyrodiil and it's awesome.

It's been kind of bad lately. Nothing but scrolls and potions. If you have all maxed level characters and in crafting as well all this stuff is useless. What happened to crates? I would love to see more telvar, 100k gold or maybe some rare resources like cromium added. Make it worthwhile. Last months bear cup pet was nice but the pony this month is just meh and I love horses. Don't like using pets that large as they just get in the way of everything.

Yep. Less filler. Ap and telvar last 9 days of the month is much, much, much better.

They kind of do this already, with the major reward for the full month coming on day 21 or so. It’s a very sensible move as it gives people who miss a few days the ability to still get the ‘big’ reward and gives players who log on every day some nice little bonuses for days 21 and above.

That said, pretty much all the daily rewards the last 2 months have been useless. I don’t necessarily want them to be super significant, but I’d love them to be more imaginative than 3 weeks of crown crate crap.

I have to agree. Unless you have no life, most of us just can’t log in every day. I try to login as much as I can, but there are times when I just can’t. Recently I was sick with the flu and just didn’t feel like logging in. So I often miss out on the final reward. Having it for only 3 weeks gives me a little leeway and a chance to take a breather from the game if I need to.

The poor quality 'rewards' is self defeating as the system was set up to encourage or tempt more players to log in more often, but who on earth is incentivised to log in for what is pretty much useless stuff ? lol

They got the temptation part accomplished early one with big rewards like crown crates and even the Murkmire DLC. Now that they've got a good number of players hooked, they can just phone it in.

I don't like that some of the rewards have no value to me but they are bound to my account. Like what am I going to do with a mount upgrade if my mount is maxed? Who cares about XP if you are max CP? I only need 1 master crafter, all this research stuff is junk. I already have an army of non-combat pets. Poison's are worthless to me. AP is pretty worthless also unless it's a large amount.

Stuff I like:

Gold
Telvar
Gold crafting mats
Alchemy ingredients
purple recipes
housing items
writ vouchers
surveys


See the pattern? Stuff I can use or sell for gold.
