Why lock event rewards behind horrible RNG? It helps no one except those willing to pay.

Since last night, two boxes with crafting mats and one gravestake memento apiece, and two with two miscellaneous gear/crafting/vendor items. Guess I need a tiebreaker but still no duplicates.

Haven't received any boxes from any type of boss loot so far. My best luck for additional pulls have been from river trolls and non-map treasure chests. Only one box from a resource node (platinum) so far.

I haven't been grinding too much. If I haven't found an extra box in 20 minutes, I've gone back to working on my Cyrodilic Collections taxes. Which I also hope to finish before the U25 download...

Yeah another thing the defenders here are forgetting is that come Monday we all have to redownload the entire game, which is going to lock a sizeable portion of players out of getting anything at all for several days and nearly all of us for one day. And this of course is assuming that nothing goes fubar with the download and the game is playable afterwards.

Exactly, they are testing a strategy called "the anchor" a microtransaction method to see what are the limits and how far they can go in controlling people by choking them out of their patience. Its a disgusting pyschological strategy but it works. Zos should be ashamed of themselves lmao.

Im sorry, but I just dont believe you lol. I spent hours there yesterday killing mobs, doing story stuff, looting nodes and treasure chests and I never saw another box. And no I wasn't in a group for that to have ruined it. The level of luck you have described here is like getting a royal flush.

They’ve been doing this over at least the past year and it is a problem with the video game industry as a whole. It is now being studied in academia and with the attention paid to gambling in video games, we may see more regulation of predatory monetization (I hope so, anyway). For starters I would make a law prohibiting sale of digital goods for fake currency. All transactions must be listed in real dollars. Fake currency obscures true costs from customers and holds their money hostage, both of which hinder our ability to make rational purchasing decisions.

Got tickets on first kill yesterday.
Today, 9 hours later, and still nothing. Not tickets and no event boxes.

This is some serious BS, ZoS, and of all events to pull this %"&* with, you choose the one that is already got a big steaming pile smack dab in the middle of it.

I just have no words to express how I feel about the seemingly unending ineptitude of this company.

That is why I am not farming this event. Nope. Not worth my precious little free time to spend in frustration. I'd rather do something fun with my free time, and if the current event, or even state of ESO is not fun, then I will not resign myself to and waste entire afternoons away when I could be playing something far more entertaining.
