That's 3 tickets because there are 2 feathers for the new Indrik, hence costing 20 tickets. This is the last event to get the mount.

No there's another event. Only 3/4 berries for the new Indrik have been released.

Since the start of the celebration I got two momento fragments. I hope it isn't a scam to get us to buy event tickets because that would be a shame. For clarification how do we get the momento fragments?

I have realised I am not getting those mometos. The event I think has been a disaster. I just do the three dailies for the motifs then move on somewhere else. Double nodes aren't worth it either when they are few and far between. I'm disappointed in ZOS for making an event with momentos unatainable without buying event tickets. This is worse than the 400-500 gem mounts.

My guess is the Indrik, Memento, and Pet and basically three different options and you are only reliably expected to get one (possibly with event tickets gained each day) because they are not expecting everyone to want everything. Certainly there's been a lot of indrik-fatigue expressed on the forums.
So they give you enough tickets that even if you had horrid luck and don't get any Fragments for either the Memento or the Pet, you can still use tickets to get whichever you want, or put those tickets toward the indrik.
But probably they didn't intend for any one person to get everything with just in-game acquisitions.
That said, some people have gotten lucky with multiple Fragment drops per Murkmire Strongbox, so it's not out of the question that someone will get the Memento and the Pet and still have leftover tickets for all their indrik stuff.

But that's just a GUESS. For people who want everything and don't dare wait to see if the event is going to be re-run, it can look bleak trying to get all three especially as you can't simply put a lot of effort into grinding out more Strongboxes.

I think the general sense of all the complaints is FOMO -- fear of missing out. In this case, it's just the not-knowing of whether the event will be re-run with the rewards available again.

- Murkmire was given away for free as a daily login reward (0 crowns)

- You can not get duplicate fragments which is very good, so if you get your strongbox every day, it's very easy to get both pet and memento since you can buy the few missing fragments with the event tickets which are very, very easily earned (= 2 minutes of gameplay) (0 crowns)

Drop ratio is horrific still, I've been getting only one box per server since day 2. Worse part is that memento's/pet's parts aren't a guaranteed drop...

Since I got everything I wanted (complete indrink + berry) I started using the tickets to buy the pet's missing parts. I was reluctant but I've been informed that we don't get spares of the parts we already collected.

Atm I'm missing 2 parts of the pet on EU server and 1 part on NA server.

Sadly I missed two days of tickets, one due to irl stuff on the first day of the event and the second one due to download. I got a feather and that leaves me with 23 tickets to spare, which is not enough for anything unless I'll get lucky in the next few days. I got one pet fragment and one memento fragment so far but I only got the guaranteed boxes (except for two I missed). I don't have that much play time and I don't really want to waste it on grinding. I got Legion Zero pages for tickets and gold last event, sadly gold is out of the picture for this one due to the strange decision to put the fragments in the collections tab. Double jeopardy rng is a terrible idea, especially with the initial drop rate of boxes being so low. The events were fun once, but I think we get too many long events in a row and they hit us hard with FOMO on dlc celebrations like this since we have no idea if they'll return. I would forgive something like this on regular events , like Undaunted, Midyear Mayhem, New Life or Jester's and Witches Festivals, since they are returning events. All in all, I'm really getting turned off towards the events and I do bare minimum for the indrik feathers most of the time. I like to collect things and I'd want my Indrik collection to be complete, but I'll stop bothering even with indriks if they'll pull that rng crap with them too.

After hours of farming this event each day I have only gotten 2 strongboxes each day. I came to the forums to see if there was actually a Max LIMIT of 2 so I could stop wasting my time. But haven't seen any indication that is true but y'all on this thread seem to have the same drop rates I'm getting. OTOH I am getting good drops on the motifs.

I've gotten several strongboxes that contained no fragments, and once or twice I got tickets but no strongbox.

Tonight on the EU server I got a strongbox with 2 voriplasm trap fragments, thereby completing the pet. I had bought 2 of the fragments the other night with tickets.

It does indeed look like the drops are programmed such that you won't get duplicate fragments, which if correct is very good.

I still need 4 fragments for the grave stake, and after I get my tickets tomorrow night I'll have enough to buy 2 of them, so I'm hoping maybe I'll get 2 in the strongbox and be able to buy the other 2, thereby completing the memento.

But if I don't get 2 in the strongbox, I'll probably just save my 11 tickets and buy the 4th berry as soon as the next event starts, since there won't be any way to complete the memento.

The other night on the NA server I bought 2 voriplasm trap fragments and completed the pet. I think I bought 4 voriplasm trap fragments in all.

I still need 5 grave stake fragments, and didn't get any in my strongbox tonight. If I manage to get 3 in the strongbox tomorrow night, I guess I'll buy 1 ticket with crowns, thus increasing my 9 tickets to 10 so I can buy the last 2 fragments and complete the memento. Otherwise I'll just save my 9 tickets for the next event.

The extra RNG nature of this event has been different. I'm not going to complain about it, because I've managed to get what I was most interested in (the pet) out of the event-- but even the pet wasn't all that important to me, and I was more than happy to get things like Murkmire style mats or the occasional crafting motif in addition to Murkmire gear or treasure.

That is extremely weird. Have you put in a ticket/report? What did they say about it? I'm pretty sure tickets are meant to always be accompanied by your first strongbox of the day.

No, I didn't file a support ticket, because from what I've read in the forums, other people have experienced that as well, and it may have something to do with the type of mob or boss you killed to get the tickets.

Except for one night when I helped take down a group boss, all of my tickets have been earned by killing mobs like alligators, river trolls, hoarvers, bear-lizards, and Argonian behemoths.

I'm playing on both servers-- PC NA and PC EU-- and didn't miss any days due to the update, so that's 2x12 or 24 drops in all, and of those only 1 or 2 didn't include a strongbox, so I think that's pretty good RNG compared to what some players had.

I clearly remember not getting a strongbox with my tickets on 1 drop on the EU server, either the first or second day of the event-- I think it was the first day.

Then if I remember right there was 1 other day, about halfway or more through the event, when I didn't get a strongbox with my tickets, again on the EU server.

The NA server is the one that I really care about; and since the strongboxes weren't guaranteed to contain fragments, anyway, it really wasn't a big deal to me that I didn't get a strongbox on 2 out of 24 drops.

I actually did manage to get a second strongbox one day on the NA server, when I was running around Murkmire just farming, killing mobs, and maybe doing a daily job, since I'd already gotten my tickets and strongbox the night before. I was surprised to see the additional strongbox show up when I was looting the mob's corpse, but now I can't remember whether it contained a fragment in it.

As the question is about drop rate, here are some informed numbers.
What I did was to kill&farm 100 mobs&nodes in 5 series.
That makes 500 attempts.
The result was 1 additionnal Strongbox (found in a ressource node) what is consistent with what other posters said : 2-5 hours grinding and 0 to 1 additionnal Strongboxes.

Now if the probability to get an additionnal Strongbox was 1 % then the probability to get nothing in 100 attempts is 37 % but the probability to get nothing in 200 attempts is 1 %.
As this is approximately what we observe and as the programmers ALWAYS use round numbers for their success probabilities, I would say that the probability to have an additionnal Strongbox is 1 %.
It could actually be lower and still consistent with what we observe - f.ex 0,5 % but I don't believe that they would go so low because it would basically mean that NOBODY would invest enough time to have a reasonable chance to get a second drop.
Of course with a couple of obvious exceptions where the second drop would come in 20 attempts

Now , like several posters remarked, getting a Strongbox is not the whole story. Getting a useful content is.
So if there is a probability of 33 % to to get a useful content, then the overall probability to get a useful content is 0.01 x 0.33 = 0.0033 e.g 0.3 % what is zero for all practical purposes (with the obvious few rng exceptions)

It's a straight up lie to claim that daily tickets only took 2 minutes to get. Sometimes it was that quick. But it could take considerably longer. And did for me on multiple days.

Only one of my accounts finished both collectibles, with 2 parts purchased with spare tickets. That was running two characters through the event doing 3 dailies every single day for most of the event. Getting occasional extra strongboxes.

Averaging about an hour a day.

I certainly would not have finished the collectibles just from the guaranteed 1-a-day strongbox which came with tickets.

And didn't on other accounts where I got my daily tickets and guaranteed 1-a-day strongbox and called it a day.

One almost finished one collectible but only got one part for the other.

The other only got about 2 or 3 parts total. Out of the 14 required.

With 39-42 tickets from the event - assuming you didn't miss any with the total client download right in the middle of the event - and 55 needed to buy parts just for the collectibles, i.e. ignoring feathers and berries, and at a cost of 250 crowns per ticket, that would have left me with a 3250 crown cost to finish the collectibles.

I happen not to care about those other accounts having them so I'm not whinging.

But I am calling total *** on your or anyone else's claims that it was "easy" to get these.

Drop rate??? ....you have to have more than one box drop a day in order to have a "rate"....other works its crap but you can buy tickets (wink) to get your little goodies

xbox EU: 2 voriplasm fragments
xbox NA: all voriplasm fragments

Gravestake fragments: just 2 I think on both servers, it is ok as I am not interested in the memeto.

Scuttleblooms:

10 on NA during whole event by adding small sideroutes when going from daily worldboss to daily delve, using 9 toons.
2 or 3 on EU with the same strategy using 1-2 toons.

Strongboxes + Tickets: always got them killing minor monsters or worldbosses when not many players were around.
On NA Baxilt-Gah usually did drop nothing for me as there were too many stronger players around (am just cp 390 there). So I prefer to hunt monsters first for the strongbox/tickets, then do the daily WB.

Additional strongboxes extremely rare, maybe 4 during whole event using 9 toons on NA for 19 dailies each day and running through the swamps killing enemies randomly.

Laid up with tendinitis so I had plenty of time to play yesterday. I ran the two Lilmoth dailies until I cleared all the delves/WBs and collected all the skyshards on 4 alts. Got 2 extra boxes. No fragments. In fact I haven’t gotten a single fragment on neither NA nor EU in two days. Don’t much like events being this stingy. Like okay, Jubilee gave me an absurd, inventory-nightmare inducing amount of companion pages, but y’all overcorrected, as you do. Bad RNG on top of abysmal RNG is not the way to go for an event that’s supposed to be fun.
Oh well, I got my booger pet at least.

First weekend, I got a box on Saturday and one box on Sunday, both after grinding for one hour.

Second weekend, I got zero boxes after grinding for 2.5 hours on Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday.

Grinding included harvesting EVERY SINGLE NODE I came across, including water; killing every single mob I could find, which could be difficult given other players were also grinding mobs; opening every treasure chest, heavy sack, and thieves trove.

TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT! But, I was grinding for boxes because I got several without any fragment and too many (6) with memento frags. Only got 4 total pet frags; have bought 2 and hope that I can get the last one from one of my remaining 2 boxes. I expect instead to get the final memento frag and then junk (which for me has been a combination of a blue treasure with either a green treasure, a random style mat, or a green-quality gear piece).

Totally agree. I was just listing that some of my trash-in-a-box was better than a blue piece of armor.

Best use of time is to get the one gold box per day and move on to other things.

So, final count for me: Was not able to complete the memento because I had three pieces missing still.

Was only able to complete the pet because I sacrificed 10 tickets to get the last two pieces (for a while, I wasn't sure I would be able to do that because RNG was not nice to me).

I feel like I'm on track to get the Indrik; only two berries left of the four I need.

This was doing the event for boxes and tickets at least once a day (and getting exactly 1 extra box on top of that from random wandering through the zone).

It's clear you either:
A. Have to hope the RNG Gods are kind to you. (I recognize that I LUCKED OUT on getting so many pet pieces near the end)
B. Have to sacrifice other prizes (Indrik) in order to get the ones exclusive to the particular event (Jell-O and Grave Stake)
C. Have to be willing to buy tickets from the store.

I'm not entirely sure how to feel about this.
