The Iceheart set is already only niche useful in it's way. The changes will make it useless, which is what happens half the time with these nerfs. Maybe that's to push the new set, but this isn't the way to do it. But if it goes live, then it's just another dead set in ZoS' long list of dead sets.

Yes

You sacrifice damage for survivability. It’s never been BiS but was a solid option for no death runs (especially in trials).

These nerfs make it a bad set. In particular, changing the cooldown from 6 to 12 seconds. So yeah.... will be storing my Iceheart sets on a pack mule if these changes go through. Another bad set

i wanted a visual aid to help get the point across about how angry players are with the change, a picture speaks a 1000 words and all thats and faster than actually reading the what will be 1000's of comments

It needed a buff or to be left alone. Instead they made a somewhat similar worse set then brought Iceheart down to it.

If ZOS wants to keep any remaining goodwill with players, they are definitely going to need to revert the change to iceheart. Honestly, I don't use iceheart, but if this targetted hard nerf of a set that was balanced before is anything to go by, I don't think I can trust ZOS to make many good changes to the game in the future.

It's a monster set ...

1. It already has a cooldown of 6 secs but,
2. it has a proc chance of 20%
3. it work only with crits, so it is a 20% chance ON A CRIT!!
4. it does lower dmg
5. it's the only frost dmg mosnter set
6. The shield is even weaker than Combat Physician, a set much easier to proc
7. The shield is even weaker than the one given by infused + torugs + shield glyph + any staff
8. The shield is weaker than parabellum's which costs just 10 secs of not getting dmg
9. the shield and dmg are MUCH weaker than phoenix, which cost a couple casts of equilibrium/MO/expunge


And I haven't even mentioned Imperium, Whitestrake's Retribution, Ursus, Undaunted Bastion or Hatchling shell...

It’s not as if iceheart is OP. Sure, it is really strong as a defensive set in PVE for DPS but people don’t even run it for pvp (at least not a lot if any). The new set needs to be tuned up rather than iceheart getting nerfed.

The Iceheart set is pretty niche, mainly for solo players and sacrificing damage for survivability. I would be fine with a partial nerf (Like removing the damage entirely and/or transferring that to the new DLC set), but this triple whammy we've gotten? NO.

Iceheart was not that good. I can't imagine taking iceheart over zaan, illambris, slimecraw, or skoria for general use in PvE and dungeons. The only time you would use it is for clearing VMA at low CP.

Even after the buff to 5000, the new Ciannait set is dumpster tier. Leave iceheart alone.
