what? that's.... technically impossible. not today or yesterday, but the last couple of months if my guildie wants to do pledges or daily random vet, 4 of us can join, hit the Random button, and boom. Load into a dungeon.

I'm pretty sure this is almost every player. Of course this is the internet and some people need to jump on the next bandwagon to bash a video game and create these "game breaking " scenarios to fit in.
OtarTheMad wrote: »Pardon my massive stupidity. I have been playing since beta and have only used dungeon finder like twice. Why are you using the Dungeon Finder if you have 4 people? I mean my friends and I, when we have 4, just kind of go to whatever dungeon we randomly shout out in Discord or TS. I assume it's for the daily reward but I have seen people use that broken af system over and over with 4 people.
Wouldn't it be easier to just choose a random dungeon yourself and manually port in as a group?
and the rewards for the event are tied to the dungeon group finder hence if you don't use it no rewards.

If they want to fix the group finder and make it actually work they got to remove the restrictions for players queuing for normal dungeons so everyone can get into a dungeon and weaken the strain on the dungeon finder in the process. There is just to many queuing up not enough groups being formed and sent into dungeons. 75 percent of the issues or maybe even more with it could be solved if they were willing to do remove it all together from normal queues. . Sure there would still be problems but it would be a 100% improvement over what it is now. Click enter random queue instantly get the pop up to enter the dungeon. That is what this would do. Plus the coding wouldn't compare which role is what role and lesson the strain on the group finder in the process as an added bonus now that I think about it.
Surprisingly, the majority of players are too casual to think of this and instead keep spamming that AF queue button like theres no tomorrow. This is why undaunted got shut down last time.OtarTheMad wrote: »Thanks @Munkfist and @Salvas_Aren
So it's just the XP. I mean that makes sense but I am going to stick to not using Dungeon Finder and just randomly going to dungeons. I just never really used that tool in the 4-5 years I have been playing, never worked and didn't seem worth the advil I'd pop to deal with it.
My suggestion to others for this event, since all you need to do is kill a final dungeon boss. Put on some DPS gear, does not have to be top tier AT ALL... go into FG1 normal and solo it. Or get 3 guildies/friends to just randomly port into a dungeon manually.

Might work for non-dlc normals, but anything beyond that NEEDS a proper group

Any solutions? The support isn't helping.

Group with a random person then leave group. A quick shout out in zone/guild chat usually brings positive results for me, after all, the community here is great
Please do report back here and good luck. I’ve not tried this suggestion but in the prior times I’ve had this issue the only thing that (temporarily) ‘fixes’ the perpetually broken D/GF Is a ZOS server reboot, which sometimes doesn’t occur for a couple of weeks. Even with an alleged recoding of this function it is actually much worse, for the people affected each week (it seems to work fine for others, just not everyone).

Sorry your solution didn't work but thanks, it was worth a try. And i was shocked to see that there is no maintenance this week... So i can leave this game for now because i wanted to level a new healer. I am close to leave this game forever...

Sorry couldn't help, from the previous link you gave it looks like the bugs we have encountered are different. Did you try grouping with friend (he is lead) and him queuing? Does it let him queue? How does it affect you?

I've tried this with a friend, but after 10 minutes nothing happened. So i believe its the same even with full group.
As a healer it feels like imprisonment.

Like i said after my friend queued us i noticed that my queue timer was by 40-50 minutes and my friends worked normal, but wasn't able to leave or abort the queue either.

What about full group?
