People that farm HM DLC generally aren't doing so in a dungeon finder in the first place. The real question is Why have a dungeon finder if its constantly broken and the easiest fix is pre forming groups?

Also, as someone who plays at weird times, when most of his friends aren't online, the dungeon finder is basically the only way I can reliably get into some content.

Rewards can be redistributed into a turn in similar to the pledges. New NPC or merged with the old.

Sort of. It doesn't actually change much as you could have a Board System for LFG replace the que system. Dungeon Finder vs LFG in zone isn't exactly the issue. The issue is the system of Automatically placing people in groups. Remove that and replace it with a Pre-Made LFG system and you get best of both worlds.

Dungeon Finder has been broken for weeks. There are times where I queue as a tank and cant find group. If I leave the queue and queue again, it magically finds a group instantly. Yesterday I started a group for pledges with a healer (I repeat, a healer) and we were in queue for 15 min. Didnt find group. Left queue and queued again, group found in secs.

Galadius screenshot is a perfect proof of that. I dont want to sound negative but we are all going to have a great laugh at tomorrows event.

The persistent issue since the update was implemented is that, even when queuing with a full party, that the dungeon won't pop. Re-queuing seems to be the only thing that works, and sometimes that's just once, sometimes it takes multiple tries. When I queue solo or with fewer than 4 people, I'm not sure if I am waiting in line or if I'm just bugged, so I don't even try that anymore.

Hm. PC EU here. Solo queue mostly works, but you have to re-queue if you don't get a group within a minute. Now, if you queued as a dd, no way to know in advance if it will bug out.

Haven't managed to make queueing with a group or the "find replacement" option work even once the last two weeks.

Given that there is some semblance of a tester team, stating that the dungeon finder is operational right now is at best delusional.

Anyway, happy undaunted event, folks! Is the betting on, btw?..

Yesterday I had a four man that was trying to queue for a quick vSelene’s. Had all four, queue wouldn’t pop, lead left the queue, wasn't given the option to queue again because the game still said we were in a queue. Swapped lead, showed us as queued, I was seeing we weren’t queued, and we couldn’t leave or join a queue because we both weren’t and were in one.

We found no fix for it and just ported in. The vMF run after didn’t have any better results with the queue.

what? that's.... technically impossible. not today or yesterday, but the last couple of months if my guildie wants to do pledges or daily random vet, 4 of us can join, hit the Random button, and boom. Load into a dungeon.

Pardon my massive stupidity. I have been playing since beta and have only used dungeon finder like twice. Why are you using the Dungeon Finder if you have 4 people? I mean my friends and I, when we have 4, just kind of go to whatever dungeon we randomly shout out in Discord or TS. I assume it's for the daily reward but I have seen people use that broken af system over and over with 4 people.

Wouldn't it be easier to just choose a random dungeon yourself and manually port in as a group?

The finder is needed to get the random dungeon XP boost.

I dont know whether it is also needed to get the DPS boost for correct group composition.

Using the Dungeon Finder grants a daily exp bonus for your first random dungeon.

and the rewards for the event are tied to the dungeon group finder hence if you don't use it no rewards.
