So quick post, just to throw it out there. Fashion Scrolls Online needs a hide shoulder function similar to the hide helm option. Just throwing that out there!

Certainly not a new idea ... but one that gets support from a lot of the ESO community.

Will be in the game some day I would guess ...

They did acknowledge that people wanted this before but never gave any idea of when it might be implemented so "some day" is probably about as accurate a time frame as we can get

How about characters can hide chest pieces as well. The vMOL, vCR skin looks great and its covered by armor.

Thing is they make is sound like a daunting task to add it.Not familiar with coding, but still have doubts about it being complex in terms of that though.Just seems to be one of the simpler things you could add.

I would love to have this option. I think most of the pauldrons in the game are hideous.

I think the option to at least hide belts/shoulders should be implemented, since I rarely find ones I like/go with the chosen theme/outfit.

Yes. Let us hide shoulders and belts, please. Maybe even gloves.

Agree. If 'hide' shoulders is too hard then sell us a style that is simply a thin band around each bicep or something unobtrusive - like the prisoner bands for hands that appear to simply be a nice pair of bracelets.

Assassins League medium shoulders is fairly unobtrusive. So is the prophet shawl style but better options would be most welcome for mages who don't want pauldrons or shoulder flappers.

We've been asking for that for years.

@ZOS_Adrikoth Does this mean you'll do something about that? *wink wink*
While you're at it you could get rid of those hip flaps.

ZOS has a Dev build from two years ago sitting around that has hide options for all armor slots. Why they didnt push that to Live is beyond me.

    As I mentioned elsewhere:
The most reasonable thing we can expect...
...is for them to sell "invisible armor" motiv pages in the crown store.

I mean, the suits in charge certainly won't send a code-jockey to spend their paid time programming the hide function for all outfit slots without wanting to see some profit, right?

But selling people the option... that would appeal to their shriveled greedy little hearts, right? :p;)

As for the lore... well, I already said it. "Invisible Armor". Enchanting your sturdy armor with an invisibility spell, to lure your foe into a false sense of security...
I mean, look at this guy:
    Sai_Sahan.png
...and that is -still- the best option we can expect.

They are unlikely to implement anything unless it looks like it could gain them extra profit.

This would gain them extra profit - they could sell it like one of those weapon packs, or they could hide the seperate pages in grown crates, with varying rarity... like, invisible shoulder pads or belt buckles could be uncommon, boots and gloves rare, and the chest piece extra-rare... while not implementing the "invisible pants" part so people at least are forced to wear -something- on the battlefiend, even the worst "barbarians"... I could easily see that happening.

Because profit, maybe? Why just -give- people stuff when they can -sell- the same stuff? See skyshards, guild progression, etc.

I would love to see more motivs without those! We did get some of that kind in recent times... and I really like them, -especially- for light armor. I mean, with leather armor and plate mail I can see the hip flaps, but... on cloth robes? Really???

Hide shoulder option would be really great, only a couple shoulder styles are not over the top for my character.
Also hip placement of duel weild can use some help when a chest when hip flaps are used, the weapons are floating a good 6 inchs from my hips, clipping in to my hands.

I dont think itd be so hard to code it because the "hide helmets" option already exists, so wouldn't they be able to adapt that code to each other the other body pieces? I don't think it would work on costumes as those probably only have head and body pieces and they're have to go completely redo the body sections to be comprised of multiple hideable parts... but hiding individual gear slots should be doable. Just hiding the flaps thought would mean sectioning out the flaps from the chest pieces and that would again take a lot of effort. It might be easier for them to release additional styles that amount to simply "x chest but without hip flaps" and then add those flapless versions to the outfit stations

They probably can't let us hide hip flaps because they are part of the chest but they should at least give us more chest options that don't have hip flaps!

I agree, I'd really like to be able to hide shoulders on armour, and maybe belts too.

Not all the time or on all outfits, but sometimes it's really difficult trying to find soulders that go with the rest of the outfit, especially if I'm aiming for a non-bulky look. Also on smaller characters they always seem to float way above the actual shoulders so they just look silly. (Whereas on some of my bigger characters the shoulders actually clip into the chest armour.)

Floating armor and weapons are saddening. :( Even if we don't get more hide options, I hope the floating issues can be tackled.

They are plus some already have shoulders and then you have to stick something on top.
