How are we supposed to get these in 4 days? 50x8 = 400 undaunted keys??

Note that you need to buy&read non-opal versions of shoulders before reading the Opal ones. This is BS.

These should be decreased to 10 Keys for each at least. Not everyone has hundreds of undaunted keys. Most of the end game players stop doing pledges after they got their items&achievements so this is nonsense.

The answer is simple, we're not suppose to. The impresario will also sell it. For tickets that you can buy at the crown store. That's why this event is a scam. But for PC EU at least, it doesn't matter! We won't be able to play!

Here here they all look so ugly lol. I have enough spare keys and still don’t want. I’ll get my event tickets and dailies done if possible lol.

When they introduced the undaunted key merchant they already mentioned 50 keys per style page when available.
I don't know why people are acting surprised.
And considering people used to blow 100 keys trying to get the shoulder they wanted, I'm guessing they didn't think it was unreasonable.

While there are only a possible 5 hefty boxes that can be earned, which have a guaranteed weapon outfit page in them, the normal boxes will also have a rare chance at a weapon style page.

And, as mentioned, these are also available for event tickets, though players may want to spend those on the helm/shoulder pages if they don't have enough keys or unable to do vet hardmode (or they want the indrik stuff).

But, the pages are also tradable, and I will certainly be selling mine.

Yes, agreed that they will be expensive if one wants to collect everything. I don't know why the event isn't at least a week. I also don't know why players have to have already purchased to regular version of the shoulder page before being allowed to purchase the opal version.

But, the weapons at least are farmable. You get five guaranteed (if you're able to log in and earn them during each window) and they have a chance (probably extremely low) of dropping from the regular boxes. Some players could farm FG1 ad nauseum, but I doubt the drop rate will be very good, and of course, players will get dupes. But, they'll be tradable.

The real problem is the shoulder and helm styles, which the former requires a previous 50 key purchase in addition to the 50 keys to buy it, and the latter requires being able to do vet hardmode. These can, of course, be purchased with event tickets, but there won't be enough of those to be able to buy all of them without spending real money.

I see it basically as buying something ugly for the sake of buying it, to have a collection. A collection that one will never use. Also it is ZOS exploiting the hell out of FOMO (fear of missing out) and using psychological tricks to force people to buy event tickets for RL cash. I knew it, the moment they added event tickets to the cash shop & 12 cap on event tickets in your inventory.

My advise: It is not worth it. No one will say or point fingers at ppl "oh, you dont have all of them, you s**k etc."

I totally agree it is not worth it. That's what I was trying to say, but it might not have been clear.

I do think some of the weapons look great - particularly the Ilambris opal staff and bow. But the helms and shoulders are largely ugly and I wouldn't use them.

Oh I agree with you; I was trying to point out artificial scarcity of these to push people towards the crown store, where these things are extremely expensive. Yes, these are obtainable through 5 boxes, farming dungeons, etc. In that case it will still likely leave you around 10 style pages short of the full set, but yes, a subset of the collection can be obtained in game.
