F1 - great game, no one plays it
Madden - 25+ years in and there is still no balance. I was like 31-1 on all-madden vs the CPU and it wasn’t fun because you can’t unknow the glitches.
NBA2K20 - the apex of predatory games. Overall it’s a pretty good game but if you want to play their MMO (My Park) you essentially need to pay an extra $50 just to have a toon who isn’t totally useless. The grind to 85 overall (where you can get instantly with $50) takes about 200 single player games. And if you think the group finder is bad on here with dungeons, imagine if a dungeon required a point guard.
WWE2K20 - I’ve dumped thousands of hours into wrestling games over the years. While there are some improvements theoretically, the game literally doesn’t work. I believe the meta critic score is actually 0.
NHL20 - fun for single player drop ins otherwise it’s more of the same game.
Battlefield V - I uninstalled it in 10 minutes when I remembered that dying to someone who is a mile away isn’t fun.
Tennis World Tour - maybe the worst purchase I’ve ever made.
DC Universe - even like a decade after release there is still a pay wall.
Mortal Kombat - it was fun for a week.
Spiderman - Sort of fun for a week or two.
GTA - Always a good time in spurts but nowhere near the depth of ESO.
RDO - See GTA.
The Show - Very good game but just as exploitable as every other sports game.
I could go on and on but I’ve dumped way more money than I should into games that ranged from fun for a week or two to outright unplayable garbage. ESO has and likely will always have some issues, but the state of games on XBox and PS4 is pretty lackluster with so many games being jammed into yearly development cycles.
Sure, but what I found is the content is the same. It's a great game and the new stories are good.
My big issues I am finding at the moment is nothing is "new" sure there is new stories, dungeons and trials which are fun, but they're just more of the same old.
I recently picked up an mobile version of what was my first entry into MMO gaming as something to play when I get free time at work and there are so many things I can do in it which ESO doesn't have.
Funny thing, I would probably need 3 lifetimes to actually see and enjoy EVERYTHING ESO has to offer. I'm so slow on questing, Cyrodiil/IC/BGs are taking too much of my game time. I have so much to see yet, from EP line to finish the Chapters and dlcs... slacking so much.
This game offers so much content that I'm not moving from ESO anytime soon, if ever.
No not if PvP is your main draw. Idk how people still slog through it all the time. No clue how streamers go for 6+ hour day after day. And the rest of the content is just meh. It’s grindy, graphics are outdated and the whole game doesn’t even function that well unless no one else is in it.

And to think I praised the new combat team. Everything is a big mess, performance is horrible, balance is horrible, combat feels horrible, I don't like my new ''class identity'', I don't like any of it. Its not as bad as morrowind but Its damn close.
You mean when they don't have necromancy and dragon hype from the final season of GOT to capitalize on? NOPE
