They going back and forth on changes shows a lack of direction. I get going back once on a change, everyone makes mistakes, but they do it very often and a lot of times they keep repeating the mistakes through the years.
Overall, no, because there doesn't seem to be a direction at all. Just wildly swinging around the nerf and buff hammers like a pendulum. I like stability and smaller more measured changes with an overall goal.
This patch made a hybrid sorc possible that I wanted to try now for some time now. I really enjoyed it when I first tried it out today in both BGs and Cyro. Additionally, the DOT nerfs made PVP overall more enjoyable. Yes, some of the nerfs are annyoing but overall the final version of the patch looks solid. Some builds don't work anymore, but the changes also opened up new ways to build for multiple classes.
But I have to agree that ZOS looks like they are lacking direction with those back and forth changes. They should try to make less extreme changes in the first place, imo.

Mixed bag.
Warden changes are a huge disappointment.
StamDKs are now the ultimate dot class.
MagSorcs got a huge surviability buff.
D-Swing meta is gone.
No I simply just dont think it's healthy for the game for people to need to wildly change their builds so much like we have the last few patches. I am ok with needing minor adjustments over time, but we have needed to make sweeping changes to our builds 2 patches in a row now to even be viable, let alone optimal, and for what? It seems very little was accomplished balance wise in the last 2 patches. What a waste of time.
Liked the race changes as it was an Khajit buff.
Yes this one is biased. All are so just state it.
Yes why give Argonian disease resistance and Bosmer poison resistance then an quest in Elsweyr was about an Argonian being able to rescue her team of Khajiit because her resistance to poison. 3
They gutted my magplar build, just to over buff the typical magplar builds. They want all magplar building and playing the same. They've done it to all classes
1) The combat team is incompetent.
2) The combat team doesn't exist. The game is actually balanced by Sheogorath zapping the server with Wabbajack every three months.
This constant rollercoaster with the new combat clowns has altered me from a daily player into a filthy casual. I am certain they will have a crown store purchase soon to get my player interest skill line back... or not. At least the daily logins and roaming around Tamriel aimlessly will keep me opening the game right? Not sure what else to do in ESO. The game just feels shallow, sure, it's visually amazing but it lacks so much depth for what it could be if ZoS would kick things into high gear. I just don't think their team is big enough, the game is not what it should be.
I also think I've either reached that point where it's not fun or I am just tired of the constant dev fatigue with no logical direction. Definitely break time from ESO for a bit. I'll check back next chapter in May 2020

I have not liked any of the changes since and including the race passive changes.
I totally agree regarding racial passives. While I have concerns about large scale back-and-forth changes, I feel that I am too new to the game and the latest changes too recently introduced for me to reasonably form an opinion.
Weird... Using my same stam dk dots setup as last patch and only do 1k less dps on a dummy..Tried PvP and still melting people with. Using same skills venonous claw/breath/rending slashes with 2 axes for the proc and same with 2h axe for the proc. That was looking bad but I'm surprised. I can't vote yes or no lol
Well I do not like the changes to dots i think dk dots are in ther right place and all should be at the same level, I think and maybe dk do the extra 10 they had, they overnerfed I think those damages are of people with all cp not in a no cp envoirment where everyone is evened, and last I do not like this separation of one morph with knockback or stun the other losing it but having a cool utility like scatter shot, other nerfs are not so much like maybe onslaught had to much duration that was true because maybe they made a mistake but at rank 4 you still do 100 penetration so it is very good still.
Some have talked about the racial changes and well they happened before I started playing but I made a bosmer and his racials are clearly terrible I mean 1500 penetration after roll dodging it should be the equivelent to 258 weapon damage in penetration and always, I am not asking it to be the other side of nord and have the same nords have in resistances in penetration and 3 meters detection, he has not a single point in it. Give bosmers some love! I am seriously thinking in turning him into a dark elf, seriously, if he was not so hansom, that has saved him until now from even becoming a vampire.
