The Devs never guaranteed we'd like the result.

Not exactly what I'd consider class identity.

we had identity a couple years ago, sadly a lot of that stuff does not exist in the game anymore.

Sorc Identity = Nerfs. They only buffed Ball of Lightning so we can run away from fights we're doomed to LOSE!

They're using that in Elder Scrolls new media campaign: "You Have To Adapt."
"Have you ever thought other games were boring because they're the same month after month?"
"Today's chess match will have the knights move only two spaces, but in any direction."
"Have you ever thought things need to constantly change?"
"For the 2019 season football players will no longer be allowed to throw farther than the line of scrimmage."
"Have you ever thought that a game isn't fun unless the rug is yanked out from under you ever few months?"
"After three months of using a sponge-foam ball, we will now be switching over to using a peach for the baseball and a plastic baseball bat, as part of our grand design."
"Have you ever thought that what a game needs is sudden random nonsense?"
"The pole vault should be a lot more exciting now that the jumpers are required to bring the pole over the bar with them."
"Have you ever thought that there's not enough overlap between games?"
"For conformity, the NBA will require players to use a soccer ball from now on. But it will say "NBA Basketball" on it to reinforce sport identity."
"Then if you want a world where things are exciting, Elder Scrolls Online: You Have To Adapt."

Class identity for ZOS seems to be the animations and how a skills looks with the theme of a class. It has nothing to do with how the skill actually works and can be a straight rip-off of another classes' skills.
GhostofDatthaw wrote: »Wardens???
They kinda had an identity, magdens the frost king and stamdens melee bruiser with shalk
With did they even get. I'm just so confused with this game anymore. I really don't think I can go on

it is.
especially for DK. this patch is to show how much broken the class identity is by building what's on the PTS (poopfist and nerf) vs their own recent article: https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/57025 (flame and fury)
seriously, how did this....
became this...
