why is stonefist ranged?

Because stamina classes are supposed to be ranged. Bird, skulls, stone fist. Stam is ranged, everybody knows that by now.

What pushes them to do this so sturbbornly on what is essentially a purely immobile, melee class , after so many failed attemps on stamina classes that were more suitable for ranged combat..

Is it pride? It is sheer hatred for the community? Is it the corporate suits not giving them resources for new animation? Or is it purely ignorance and lazyness?

I think the worst part is, this is why theres no stam whip. They wanted a range spammable because to hell with class identity and how they should play. Flinging a turd at someone just makes more sense than a 28m whip.
