Dragonhold, anything for endgame Community?

Hello,

So with dragonhold we get a new overland Zone. Thats it.

Compared to the Last Q4 DLCs thats not much.... With clockwork we get Asylum Trial and with Murkmire we got Blackrose Prison for our endgame PvE Community. And also new and intresting ability altering weapons. Why not this patch? You only give us a zone for Overland questing and some world bosses that get nuked by all the players around.

Even the new sets are Overland drops or crafted and can be sold. Why should i buy dragonhold? A lot of players we're quite hyped for the new weapons cause they change important and heavily used skill. (At least they should cause they are the only ones left that dont have an weapon attached to it). Wich are Momentum, Snipe, ele drain, flying dagger, reverb and the one from resto i dont remember.

The value of DLCs are kinda going Downhill, dont you think?

Nothing for end game. Disappointing as it had seemed Zos had set that expectation since they changed the cadence of releasing new content in 2017. However, I do not think they have actually said they would add any trial or arena type content with any regularity. Still sad.

Many of the team members that create new content lack the skill set to work on bug fixes so this does not make sense. It is something Zos is smart enough to not make the same mistake twice. Zos went an entire year without releasing any meaningful content. The results was a mass exodus and a great many never returned to the game.

Do most PvE endgamers, finished every hard mode vetDungeon without a member dying? Same for trials and arenas? I like questing, and altough I finish them within 2-3 weeks (family, work etc) I have patience for more then 5 month for the next content (after 3 month I get a 2x1,5 hour content which is interesting but max 2 days for me). Sometimes I hope they will do 2 small zones a year after the chapter, but I don't hold my breath too much.

I understand it sucks that after 2,5 years of continous quarterly endgame content, they will have a short break, but devaluate a quest heavy content is irritating for me, because atleast for me this DLC will have a 100% achievement completion.

Two days is super super super generous for finishing the quest line. Maybe two day for all achievements, but most definitely it will be 2-4 hours for quest line. 2 for skipping - 4 for reading. I usually take a new character through CWC for the 2 hour xp scroll <BTW CWC = best reward system since I bother to actually do it for a reward. So sad they dropped that idea>, and it takes a starting level 3 roughly 2-3 hoursish with training get set.

In comparison getting challenger usually does take most people far longer than two days unless they practice on PTS or have a perma team on standby.

But to compare it with the last DLCs its much much less content for the same price No?

I hardly believe that the price will be the same with less content. And the given content is only aimed at a specific audience.

Dont get me wrong, i am Happy they finally want to fix a lot of stuff. And i also happily skip more then one dlc to get just fixes and QoL improvements. But reducing the content of a full dlc and still ask the same price is not how to deal with this. Its like making us pay for fixes. While fixes should be free Tho. We deserve a working Game. We already payed for this.

Part one of the performance improvements.

This. I'm totally fine not having anything for another patch even, as long as they actually do something visibly good about the performance.

And i'd like to see how many of the existing dungeons, trials and arenas are completed on a proper difficulty by anyone who already QQs for the new ones.

So having a DLC with less content but Same price is fine as long as you get Bug fixes? So basicly paying for getting a working Game?

    I dont like that.

Nah, they took care of that by introducing the new Dragonguard dailies grind to fully unlock the sanctuary. Basically Dark Brotherhood, but with different NPCs

    I dont like that.

Then you don't buy it who cares. They don't have unlimited resources and there have been loads of threads in these forums screaming for performance upgrades in cost of new content. It's been asked like a thousand times, they are even late to do this.

You people have to realize that new content doesn't mean a single sh!t when your game client is constantly on fire.

Edit: Also, i didn't say it should be like that forever. Just giving up on a single mini trial or an arena on one single dlc is nothing to qq for.

And here we have all the cheapasses that dont want subscribe to a game that give them hundreds of hours of play time but god forbid paying 12 € monthly

Way better whining on the forum because they dont think that spend 450k golds for 1500 crowns to 'buy' the DLC is worth it.

Oh just a note. All those golds come from playing the game for free

To be honest to me the fact that there is no new endgame content is the worst part of this patch. Nerfs are demotivating, but you can get over them, but no real endgame content (exept 2 probably much to easy DLC dungeosn in Q1 2020) for 8 more months? I've cancelled my subscribtion, because it feels like the game is not giving me enaugh value to justify 12€ a month.

I do have an aktive subscription. I am just disappointed from a big DLC that doesnt offer much besides Overland questing. These is nothing in it for the endgame Community.

Well, the combat team is busy with their ability audit. That's "endgame content" as well. Story players rarely complain about a lack of class balance or encounter difficulty.

Would you really want the story team to work on your next trial instead?
