I mostly play Khajiit, and while Elsweyr is allied with AD, Khajiit themselves tend to go everywhere; their culture tends to be their own no matter what Alliance they happen to be inside the borders of.

Yes, for roleplaying purposes. The races of Tamriel can be found everywhere, we see that with npcs all the time. A khajiit can be born in Wayrest and fight for DC, a breton can be born on Summerset and be part of AD etc.
I have characters across all 3 factions, since usually they have little impact.

This one is a Khajiit-only player....and plays mainly for DC. Locking certain races behind a certain Alliance is not the Elder Scrolls way imho.

Has it because preorder but has never used it. Mostly play Khajiits and had no reason not to play AD.
Planned to make Necro EP because of an guild I'm in but with faction lock its not relevant as it would lock the other caracters out.

A long time ago, I purchased Any Race, Any Alliance when I realized the Breton race was BIS for Templar healing. Initially I chose to be an Imperial EP.

I do have ARAA, but I don't use it. I'm way too loyal to the Covenant, and they are fairly well-rounded for all roles. Not necessarily BiS, but certainly good choices.

With that said I will be making my PvP toon an Imperial.

Yup, I joined game after one Tamriel but before I pvp'ed and there was no faction lock. I made alts based on the races. When I started pvping, I used my main in the DC cp campaign and used my AD and EP toons purely for motif runs and soloing resources in the non cp campaign for tier 1 geodes. I enjoy pvp but have never been rabidly competitive enough to faction hop. Besides, I'd feel like a heel attacking someone I fought with the day before. Then I wanted to try a DC Argonian and hit my first speed bump. Then faction lock made it's reappearance and I suddenly could only use 2 alliances in the 30 Day campaigns to farm motifs. So now, I have 11 toons, 5 DC, 4 EP and 2 AD. As I create and delete toons, I will use AAAR to phase every toon to the same alliance eventually.
