Will you turn off your eso plus and not buy anything from eso store to make a point?

Remember the ol' unions that united together with their workers when they were treated badly. Let's unite.Let's turn off our eso plus and not buy anything from eso store until they treat us like paying customers. There are no more unions, why? I'll tell you why. Because the people at the top felt threatened that the workers would walk out, have a voice that mattered.

Im fighting for the eso i have loved for years. Don't break our game anymore .

Enough is enough !!!

To be fair, they are trying to fix it. Whether that works or not is still up in the air.

I truly wish they'd be more specific about the end goals associated with this combat overhaul. Much may have to do with performance, which if improved would make these lurching changes more agreeable.

To your Union point, they do still exist, in fact a major one is on strike right now. But customers can't really force a company to do anything. If the revenue stops for a product, they simply discontinue the product and move on, especially in the gaming sector. Look what happened with Mass Effect: Andromeda. The idea of unionization is to ensure the employees are protected.

The game hasn't really failed to deliver on promises to me. Mostly because I never asked for any.

From when I started (morrowind) to now, the game has been fun. The overland quests have vern fun to follow.

Learning and dungeons and trials has been fun. (Baring when fake tanks or healers show up and make it generally unenjoyable.)

Pvp I avoid because its not my style.

Perhaps I am easy to please. Who knows. But I can see them trying. You may not agree with what they're trying but they're trying. And yes, theres work to be done.

I'm not going to stop supporting peoples' livestock becuase in the first week of a ptr patch, the damage of dots got lowered. They gave classes some other toys people have been begging for since forever (stamsorc and stamdk specifically) but they still need to be fine tuned like any new ability in testing.

Maybe you should do less damage? I dunno. I kinda like doing mechanics. You know the planar in wgt? Or that season lady in MoS. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE SEASON LADY EXECUTE HER MECHANIC. NOT ONCE. Every dps I have had in that dungeon has killed her before her mechanic triggers. The planar use to be impossible without co ordination. Now's its just burn burn burn her to the ground. Even trial bosses. Burn burn burn so we dont have to do the mechanic in the yard. Sure it gets *** done and sure the Adrenaline rusb of running against the clock can be cool.but the boss might as well just be a sack with a scary face on it.

The healers (me) got adjusted last patch. The forums were on fire. Patch landed. Most of everyone went quiet and complained about dots in pvp while I merrily enjoyed only having to throw one orb to get the same job done.

Not sure about the company. But I trust this larger community far less regarding what they want.

I'll stop when I've run out of stuff to do. Which I haven't. Still have to start elyswere. Still have to do thr latest batch of dungeons. Still helping guildies by being a healer.

Rushing through content as fast as possible just isnt fun to me. I play games to recreationally waste time. Why would I want to get it done faster like it's a work task.

Thars just me though. I'd you feel being (potentially) nerfed is ruining the game for you, go ahead. Its your money and your life. But I'm having fun.

What point would we be trying to make. Unions work in large part because when they orchestrate a strike or boycott they have specific goals they're trying to achieve and they organize people around that. From reading this I haven't the faintest clue what yours is, so you failed step one.

Once a player is hooked it's hard to stop. Too much management is required without the bag.

I (want to) believe that they are trying to fix the game but I don't want to waste my time in the process tbh. So I think I will not play the game as much as I used to until the game reachs in a better state.

I only post the obvious 'separate pvp and pve or disable certain things in pvp' because I care about the game world
not because anything the devs do impact my personal play style, so no, not withdrawing anything from them.

Those that feel their play style is being impacted should do whatever floats their boats.

Really do wish the community would open their eyes and stop fighting with each other and with one voice shout what really needs doing, because obviously ZoS are just going to continue down the derpy path otherwise.

That being said, this game can probably survive quite a long time on the fat wallets of RP'ers, decorators, crafters, and flower-picking-care-bears <3

    No.

Strongly in favour of unions & collective action (am a union steward) but not in this case.

Firstly, I want to make my own mind up about the changes. I have been here for a bloody long time & gone through some huge changes that people said would end the game - but they didn’t.

And I don’t take much notice of temper tantrum threads that threaten or insult - which is what the majority of posts about this patch have been. Without actually testing it & seeing what it means in reality.

So when my playstyle (filthy casual apparently even tho’ do pvp and vet trials) is ridiculed by those who want my support, I am not likely to give it unless for a very good reason. And I don’t believe this is one.

Some changes to some aspects of dps are not life or death issues. This is a game, ffs, get a grip.

Why the hell would I make a game I love playing virtually unplayable? No craft bag, no DLC etc, no thanks.
I actually like the fact that ZOS has realised that the DPS numbers were getting way out of hand, they haven't necessarily gone about reducing them the right way (nerf light attacks back to pre Summerset levels is what I'd do), but it's a start.

You sound like a bad case of Stockholm Syndrome, have a moment to read around the endless performance issues since the very early posts here, reddit and such. Customers in EU barely able to log in. Dungeons and trials constantly bugging out. It was just recently after so long that they fixed the dungeon queue issue and that was after even having the nerve to deny it. We are sadly just quarterly numbers for them. If the numbers hit they keep focusing on doing whatever keeps the numbers hitting the spot. The OP is right people should definitely put into halt all the purchasing so they take the performance issues as a priority instead of their big quarterly plans.

That is the very sad truth. I canceled my ESO+ by convincing myself I have hundreds of mats already and don't need anymore. It appeals to hoarding, a nasty habit and quite unhealthy mindset it creates. Anyways ESO stopped entertaining me, didn't feel like a worthy investment if can't get my moneys worth.
