Will you turn off your eso plus and not buy anything from eso store to make a point?

Nah, I just started playing again after taking about a year off. Sometimes a break from something is what you need to make it fun again. Even with all the incoming nerfs I'm still enjoying this game, although I do hate being constantly nerfed.

I'm not necessarily boycotting, but with these changes the game seems a lot less enjoyable to me. Then add in the fact that it seems like the direction they are going is sweeping changes every patch and I just dont feel like playing, yet alone buying the sub

    Yes.

Already cancelled my ESO+ which I've had for years. I will spend not a single coin on this game until it is fixed/crates are gone/value for money/zeni stops treating EU as 2nd class, etc.

RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.

I wouldn't play this game without ESO+. If it got to the point where I wanted to make a point. I would just quit playing and I guess that would include canceling ESO+.

Oh hell no. I don't really care what they do about DPS - mine's nothing special, never will be, and that's not why I play the game anyway.

Way too soon. Go through all PTS patch cycles and the release and if you hate the changes then, sure, you should unsubscribe and stop playing to make that clear. However...

    1) We all gave feedback about the healing changes and while I still personally hate how Springs works now and it makes me sad, they did adjust orbs based on feedback. They are also trying very hard to address performance issues and being very clear about that.

    2) Their business model is based on the Crown Store and subs and it has been like this for a while. Lots of people unsubscribe periodically or play without ESO+ so unless you quit and stop logging in I am not sure how much of a message it sends, especially long before the patch drops.

If you love the game, what you should do is give clear feedback in the PTS forums about the specific changes you don't think are good for the game. Suspending ESO+ in the hopes that ZoS will magically know why and what you are upset about will do nothing. Even people in the game playing for free are valuable because it is an MMO and they need players to keep the community alive.

This binary painting of patches as "all good" or "all bad" is problematic and unhelpful. Last patch there were a lot of people that were against the healing changes but made the point to say that a lot of the other changes in the patch notes seemed like good changes.

Also, there are still unions. ;)
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

Remember the ol' unions that united together with their workers when they were treated badly. Let's unite.Let's turn off our eso plus and not buy anything from eso store until they treat us like paying customers. There are no more unions, why? I'll tell you why. Because the people at the top felt threatened that the workers would walk out, have a voice that mattered.

Im fighting for the eso i have loved for years. Don't break our game anymore .

    Enough is enough !!!

I have gotten a 3 month refund for voicing my displeasure(yes, 3 months of ESO plus refunded to me). I cancelled sub for a few months after as well, unfortunately the craft bag is just too worth it and with at least logging in to do dailies every day I found I needed Plus more than I didn't.

To be fair, they are trying to fix it. Whether that works or not is still up in the air.

I truly wish they'd be more specific about the end goals associated with this combat overhaul. Much may have to do with performance, which if improved would make these lurching changes more agreeable.

To your Union point, they do still exist, in fact a major one is on strike right now. But customers can't really force a company to do anything. If the revenue stops for a product, they simply discontinue the product and move on, especially in the gaming sector. Look what happened with Mass Effect: Andromeda. The idea of unionization is to ensure the employees are protected.

Stop drinking the koolaid, they had years to fix this game. They're probably only fixing it now because they know people are fed up. This game will fall due to their long negligence on actually fixing what the community asked for.

They're fixing it now because the performance it's overwhelming bad since Elsweyr came out. Not just PvP (lagging in PvP it's kind of an ESO tradition) but PvE also. It got exponentially worst., specially in weaker machines and basic consoles.

If I experienced any serious issues with a game then I'd cancel any subscription and walk away. The last thing I'd do after feeling so strongly about it would be to carry on playing - that's just an excuse to stop spending money.

However, I don't have any significant, let alone serious, issues with ESO so the question simply doesn't arise and I'll carry on with my two subscription accounts perfectly happily. I do understand that the present changes on PTS upset some players, but seemingly comparatively few in relation to previous updates at this stage of the update process, and there are also comparatively more players reacting positively to these changes.

I assume everyone is a 30 y/o basement dwelling Male until proven otherwise.

I'm wrong most of the time o:)

No. If/when I stop ESO+ it'll be because I left the game and playing something else. As cool as a unified voice sounds, one only has to read the forums to see where we, the players, constantly ask to nerf classes that aren't our own. "Something killed me in PvP, nerf them!" "I don't feel relevant in content, nerf them!" "I don't like the way that other people are playing the game, nerf them!"

As usual, I will adapt, but all the changes so fast are mentally challenging.

I think the CP system may have a viable answer, so I'm sticking it out.

I want more crown-based Senche mounts that are unique.

Also think specific mount abilities for that type of creature would be exciting.

Ive turned my sub off in the past as a personal protest but honestly unless its done in mass and organized in such a way to have an impact. It wont mean anything to them. They likely already see fluctuations in subs month to month and so individuals doing it might reflect a slight spike in unsubs but it wont be something they will need to call all the execs in for an emergency meeting or anything of the sort.

If you really want to hit them in the wallet, target the Crown Crates. While subs are a good bit of money, the amount of sales they are likely making with Crates is probably dwarfing the subs revenue by large margins.

No, I see no point to it because I, like many others, have no issues moving forward. I played my characters on PTS in the state they were copied over in, and besides missing the knockback from dizzying swings (not for the actual stun/off balance, but the animation of sending enemies flying), I had no problem with anything I chose to do. Which was everything but PvP. Ran a dungeon (couldn't find a trial so there might still be issues there), did some questing, and all around had. Again, I didn't PvP so I might have quams there, but at THIS point, I am enjoying what I am seeing

Not just gamble crates... any and all of their cash racket microtransactions. While gamble crates specifically prey upon those who have problems with gambling addiction, other microtransactions prey upon those with other proclivities. Pretty much all of it is predatory for one gamer or another; they diversify offerings precisely so they can maximize targets.

For my part, I'm keeping my sub because I think the sub system is ethical (unlike their cash shop racket) and regularly play the game, but I'm done supporting this game with anything beyond that. That's because my support of the game hasn't been supporting the game... it's been supporting fat profits for the executives who think it's okay to price gouge loyal players with predatory microtransactions. And *#$^ those guys.

Why would I? The changes don't bother me much, I'll adapt as usual, and I do rarely play during prime time...so I experienced very few technical problems up to now.

Ah right, and I would never unsub for leverage reasons. Or unsub because a percentage of other players did. I play games for my personal entertainment and nothing else. I have dropped MMORPG subs before, or stopped playing altogether if a game became boring. But ESO doesn't bore me yet.
