Not true entirely. It procs selene's... and valkyn skoria. But not affected by deadly strikes despite scaling with thuam. Sweeps has been a confussed skill for years.

The new set im testing right now, dragonguard elite, is not proccing with jabs either.

Earlier I stated that Jabs wasn't proccing the Dragonguard set, but that was misinformation and I apologize, it is proccing that set, however the set is not giving the corresponding weapon critical rating to the character sheet

It really shouldn’t be scaling with Thaum anymore that’s fine. It’s direct damage now. I’m sure they’ll address this in one of the PTS updates. I’ll just tag a few people here because why not this should be prioritized.

The ability is still scaling with Thaumaturge, and not scaling with Master At Arms. Even though the ability is supposed to be classified as a direct damage ability and not "double dipping".

Master at Arms is not buffing jabs/sweeps but Thaum is. Tootips meanwhile show Master at Arms buffing it and Thaum not

I didn't add Thaum brotherman, I only added Master at Arms, but my statement still holds true. I did not try Puncturing Strikes yet either to see if that skill is appropriately scaling as well.

This is pretty typical when they change skill damage classifications. CP don't do the right thing, gear sets don't proc properly, I wouldn't be surprised if things that proc with "critical DD" and "critical DoT" are messed up and reversed as well. They are at least pretty good with fixing them within the PTS schedule as long as they are posted and /bug in game.

I definitely try to report as much as I can with video proof, but some times it gets eclipsed by a lot of complaining instead of constructive feedback unfortunately.

I can also confirm that Puncturing Sweeps damage does not scale with adding to Master at Arms, only the tooltip changes.

Once again confirming that you should never trust tooltips alone.

Technically this means jabs are weaker now to since it only scales off mighty/thau and not arms.

I just tested this for myself and MaA is buffing jabs for me. It’s a mild nerf overall even with 72 points into it but only by like 50 damage. You can make up for it. HOWEVER. I think something is wrong with the scaling. Unbuffed I’ve got 3052 damage from jabs. With 72 point into MaA I’ve got 3661. Idk how this calculates but it seems to low? If someone smarter than me with this stuff knows please do tell. Like maybe MaA doesn’t account for certain modifiers.

Are you just looking at tool tip? Test the actual damage.

It might be the burning light passive that procs certain sets, to be sure one should remove this passive when testing.

Yeah im testing that now as well, removing burning light and testing different sets, and reporting which sets are not currently being applied.

same with the set that should stack crir if u atrack from the front but does so when u attack from the back....

I understand your frustration dude, *** does bum you out, but I just have hope things will get better. I've been to a lot of other games and the industry as a whole is not looking to spicy, ESO has the best community, and some of the best people i've ever met, so I will stay until they are gone. I know this is off topic from the original discussion, but im going to keep assisting and testing things and reporting them hopefully leading them to be fixed.

Oh yep, sorry. Just jumped on PTS and you're absolutely right. The tooltip shows the value but that is not reflected in the actual damage. That might help explain why dueling was such a *** yesterday.

Yeah man, that's why i'm trying to test as much as I possibly can to help the devs out here, they got a lot of stuff going on and a lot of issues to sort through and changes to make, so I'm trying to get the actual bugs noticed instead of just complaining.

It scales off Master not Thaumaturge. It's just a minor nerf by like 50 damage.
